It seems to me that working with e-prime turns out to be rather more difficult and wordy than I first imagined. One cannot let laziness take hold when trying to avoid using the word 'is' in one's language.
Yeah of course, it makes sense to me, because describing something operationally really needs more effort than just saying sth like ah thats crap. other than that, many don't use sth like e-prime yet and try to drag you back, because they also don't want to use their brains too much. i don't know why but they seem to enjoy this confused states that is-identities create more than precice speech. i also use it at times, but i can easily pull back from it whenever more clarity is needed. cheers! ;)
