Bought this TV last Saturday and I like it so far. I mostly play video games on this and took some time adjusting to the new TV from my old big back TV. I'm still deciding if I want to keep playing in 1080p or 720p? That will come with time as I play with it a little bit more.
@TSmitt00 sorry i was ment to say 40" change anything? or should i get a panasonic vagera or how every you spell it for 588? 32" with usb and all that hdmi shit
Hello TSmitt00! I need your help, I'm about to buy this television, but i have read and saw some tests about the imput lag of this TV even in game mode (60ms) . Like you I also have an xbox360 and i play lots of games. And the question is if you feel some kind of imput lag when you're playing any game (FPS or Not) ?? I've also read that connecting by vga reduce the lag by half. Do you have any reason to complain about this TV when you are playing games on Xbox 360 or not? Thanks
@PakoPnF there is input lag, but it is not so noticeable that it throws off your game. i play in 720p to reduce that lag. you get used to it. it is no reason not to buy this tv
@PakoPnF Most of the time the xbox causes the lagg instead of the tv what most ppl think the wiring from your xbox to tv isnt to great if you have a lagg
lol it looks smaller cause in the store they have them right next to bigger tvs. They usually have them arranged biggest to smallest. 32 looks pretty tiny next to a 55 or 60, but in a room itself it is a good size.
Hey man I'm going to go get that tv at bestbuybas soon as some one tells me if it is good for gaming I have a 360 and that's mainly what I want it for can you tell me if it looks good and if it has any lag when you play online in FPS like MW2 please reply I will sub thanks
@xXTCxRaVeRx hey, its great for gaming. thats all i use it for. just make sure you put it on 720p cuz there is lag when its on 1080p with fps like mw2. but for all other games 1080p is fine. it looks amazing on both settings and is very fluid thanks to the 120Hz
I have a Sony TV... Well it's a KDL-26V4500. I've had it for 2 years and even if it's only 60 Hz and HD Ready 720p, it kicks ass. But what I want to talk about is the remote I've got with it... I've tortured it by accidents... It still as good as new... Fucking great remote :D
does your tv have the xcross media bar like the ps3? I bought one today and it doesn't, but I'm afraid I may have gotten last year's model. Let me know.
I know the picture quality is probably amazing, but how is the sound quality? Because with most flat screens, the sound usually has this tinny, sort of electrical distortion to it. Is that the same case with this tv?
I too prefer plasma, but anything over 32 inches is too big for my bedroom.
I had a look at the Sony and Samsung 32 inchers the other day. The sales guy left me alone. I turned off the processing and tweaked them. The Sonys were much better. More detail and better colour accuracy.
Can you run YouTube on your TV? Does it have a LAN port? I know it doesn't have Wi-Fi, but was hoping it has internet connectivity.
If so, can you watch HD YouTube videos, or just a low-res crappy version?
Nice TV. I'm seriously thinking about getting one for my bedroom. I'm not a fan of the LED edge-lit model (EX700) as edge-lighting just doesn't work properly, period.
I loved how you said it looked so small in the store, and so huge in your place. It's always the way. The stores are so massive with so many huge screens, you lose all sense of scale.
How have you found the back-lighting? Is the screen universally dark when the screen goes black? Or have you noticed back-light clouding?
@gorillapancake Hey thanks, i havent tested too many LED TVs, but so far this LCD has been perfect to me, i generally prefer Plasmas (deeper colors, richer blacks 600HZ) but because plasmas dont get any smaller than 42 inches i had to get LCD. And during dark scenes it is black all over, no hot spots, not as good as a plasma but still good. I would reccomend this tv for sure.
@giorgosgt1 hi, i havent tested teh v5500. only this one. However that being said, i only use mine for my 360 and it does a great job, No motion blur and the quality is great
@tito14elnene there is no motion blur at all, i use this to play 360 on. Picture is good on 360 connected with HDMI not amazing. i have yet to connect a bluray player to this however
