About the electric vs. gas comments. I've been in the game for about ten years now and I've had both. I will never again own a nitro car... dirty, loud, unreliable (maybe it was just me!) and not to mention all the pissed off neighbors. I used to LOVE gas, but not anymore... grew out of it.

I only run electric now. Run an hours worth of batteries through them, and in the end all I have to do is blow them off with some compressed air. That, and change the tires :)

Gotta say that I have always been a big nitro fan but these days brushless systems are becoming so much better , stronger and most importantly more accessible for all, I am a true convert to li-po and brushless conversions but there is still something about bashing with nitro that electric just doesn't have.. But as far as racing and competition brushless is the way. Just look at the results and popularity in competition racing 1/8 converted buggies.....there killing the gas for the most part.

uhm for one, Electric will totaly destroy nitro in acceleration, especialy if it is brushless, it will last as long as you want it to last, considering you have enaugh batts. same as nitro, you run out of gas you put more in, with electric, you put a new batt in whne one dies, simple right? Also, Electric will not polute as much which is a big +, don't get me wrong bud, I have a revo 3.3, but electric is just as good, if not better than nitro in alot of cases. look at the E-Revo vids on youtube.

I would like to add to that that electric is NOT WEAK! it has much more torque than nitro, and will keep it all through its rpm range, and because it is electric, you have torque on demand, which means you can be going 40mph hit the throttle back and you will still pop a wheelie, which is somethign you can't always do with nitro. Also, Electric is being asked for so much, in the form of a brushless Revo, that Traxxas has released a teaser vid of their E-Revo build. do your homework next time.
