@Vrijheidx Well. You're probably RC then. In Orthodoxy, unlike in RC-ism, Holy Icons are NOT considered as art, at least not in worldly sense, that's why you won't see a signature at the bottom.

It is sad to hear such words from members of the Church. Don't you know Judas followed Jesus throughout his ministry, where was he at his death, in the very pit of hades. Why does Europe have such a high rate of secularism? Why does the church acknowledge people who are basically atheists as Christians?

I am a convert to Orthodoxy. It kills me that so many cradle Orthodox Christians do not realize that they are sitting on the very pearl of great value Matthew 13:45-46

I think that the only Orthodox Country with Orthodoxy as State religion (not secular) is Greece.

I didn't write anything about other countries cause I didn't want to write an essay. But Russia is very important too. It is not 100% Orthodox, and the Church has suffered a lot in past years, but Russia will be very important because it is the biggest Orthodox country in the World.

A Greek Orthodox Father, Pater Paisios, said Russia will have a great importance in restoring Christianity in Constantinople.

@brightwhitelight1 Thats a very complex question, Though I guess the straightforward answer is yes. Though there are a few who claim to be orthodox who are not. But yes in the general sense. Each Autocephaly (spelling wrong) is just a part of a whole body. Are are complete in themselves and in each other.

How can you say such an offensive thing. As an orthodox christian you should no not to hate but to love. We shouldn't stand against anyone in this world. What did Jesus say??? LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR. As Orthodox christians we should pray for those that are against us, and hope that they see the true light. We need to think smarter.
