Ah, what a fun game. i love flying over each map in the beginning, where it almost seems so peaceful you could go on a vacation there. Then seeing all the destruction at the end, with almost everything reduced to rubble.

I recently downloaded this game. It's pure, online shooting fun. I love it. I just wish the PS3 would let me chat with non-chat enabled games on a seperate chat session. Still, that's irrelevant to the game's freaking awesome gameplay. It's really, really fun.

Just for anyone that doesn't know, EA was threatened for not giving PS3 owners a free copy of 1943 so they eventually honored that statement and now you can receive a voucher to get BF1943 for free on PS3 so long as you have BF3. Just google BF1943 redemption.

Anyone else noticing a recurring pattern: EA and Dice are releasing all the old school battlefield games (BF1942-2142) as downloadable content.. First they rereleased BF1942 as BF1943. Then Battlefield Bad Company 2 rereleases Battlefield Vietnam, the sequel to BF1943 as an expansion pack. After that, Battlefield 3 rereleases Battlefield 2 in the Back to Karkand Expansion Pack. So basically, there releasing all the old BF games in order. BF4/BFBC3 might have 2143 xD!

@JakvsMetalheads999 i think theyre gonna release 2143 as a DLC. in bf2 u could find some easter eggs talking about 2142 or an ice age and then the game came out. so if u go to wake island in b2k youll find some white boxes around the map an if u look closely youll see 2143 written on it. check it out.

Back in, I think July/August, EA said that BF1943 would come free with BF3 for PS3 players. About 2 weeks ago, they replaced that with one-week early access to the BtK DLC for BF3. Long story short, EA got sued for it, so all PS3 players will be getting BF1943 for free on Nov. 26th in Europe and Dec. 10 in North America.

@IanWilson2010 i must say a couple of things 1.ps3 has bluray 2.ps3 online is free 3.ps3 does last a little longer than a xbox now to the xbox stuff 1.xbox has a bigger marketplace 2.more ppl are going to the xbox why idk 3.more ppl have a mic on xbox so if you are a social person then go with xbox 4.you can voice chat while in a game 5.yes the xbox may cost money for online but it doesnt matter. 6.xbox controllers are more well built than ps3 controllers xbox can last longer.

@594Blackninja I play it all the time, and I find games instantly with max players, so yes, they do. Also, Sony just lowered the price from $14.99 to $9.99 so hurry up and buy it! :)

Also, if people are saying this is the worst battlefield game, then damn, I need to go buy the other ones, because this is amazing! If anyone out there plays or has played Battlefield Heroes, it is very similar, without the skills and the graphics are more real, opposed to the cartoony graphics on BF Heroes.
