Hi Brothers Yes Joe Satriani is right it is sooooo easy i,m not a guitarist but I can able to make that sound from any 24 frits on my Guitar .after I learn the way how he show. but I have spend more then 2 hours to make that sound for the first time.once I know really it is soooooooo embarrassing because that sound is not make out of your hart work.Just your balance between the string .and I can show you if any of you wanted to see .BUT JOE IS STILL A GODS FOR ME>

today chrome finishes are not hard to do. i have seen other makes of guitars such as a les paul with a chrome finish. yes its as expensive as the swirl finishes do to the lack of companies doing it. as well as it takes almost an expert to do these finishes

It was a custom made guitar, because the first 5 attempts to make the guitar, the molten chrome disintegrated the wood so they had to work on a special acid wash to keep it from burning.

Hence the limited amount, and the hefty price tag. (Then again, if you were famous and spent rediculous coin on a custom guitar, I don't think you would want it mass-produced anyways)

I'm not sure because you can have them for different things.. I've put one on my les paul and in my guitar it splits my humbucker pickups so I that I can use them as single coils... so I have six combinations instead of the standard three... but in his new ibanez JS guitars he can pull one of the knobs and the same thing happens... in fact there isn't a second switch in other JS models...

the JS model ibanez' have a coil tap on them... on standard production models we can buy you pull the tone knob upwards to turn it on... he obviously had a switch installed instead because hes well off enought to have ibanez do that for him :P

yea I've played for years.. just never had that type of bridge so I'm not used to the bar...pinch armonics are not a problem... yea sustain is not great just like they say... but I think that overall is an amazing instrument worth the money... and I actually found the stock pickups pretty good, I didn't expect that... but I might change them with real dimarzios anyway.. that might help with sustain too
