I really liked the variations. Somehow that line 'forgive me' is so iconic that every occasion it appears draws me back to WCW.
"the gravel on the groundway my sad lament" This is a line that will stay with me. That crunching sound has a mournful touch, the sound of people leaving more than arriving.

Oh, thank you for Kenneth Koch. I have his books----teaching children---- and poetry in a nursing home. I loved them 40 years ago and still do. He was at Naropa one summer and it was wonderful to hear him. Great reading, James.
