Skyrim is to me, an ACTION rpg. Still the best one i've ever played, but not surprising in story and choices. Thank god it's better than that soppy story Fallout 3 had.

What the elder scrolls needs to do is get out of its little bubble it has. Yes it has amazing graphics gameplay and all that but the whole your character not talking thing is getting old seriously. If games like witcher and dragon age make your character talk this game couldve spent a few more hours with a voice for your own character. Then I would say the voice acting would be pretty close to damn perfect.
for the sake of the gamers who play this game, the game should have had better dialogue; chances are the poor saps (me included) who gets sucked into this game will start speaking in the same manner the characters in the game talk.
i recently played Alan wake which was so awesome that when i started this game i found it rather boring in comparison and ambience. I love rpgs. i loved fallout 3 and new vegas. but people hyped this so much, im just not digging it.
Skyrim is great. beauty, quests, roleplay, free roam, atmosphere and good combat. But I wish you didn´t HAVE to kill anyone. Force a yield, then take their loot. Talk to them through Speech(companionship, quests, map locations. Alter main quest?)
For more action try Dark Messiah. It's crashy and linear, but SOURCE ENGINE lets you toss objects and kick enemies into eachother, debris or fires. MAGIC: Freeze enemies or make them slip. Fire spread. STEALTH: Suspicious AI, so sneak with dagger :D
i play on the ps3 and i dont see the lagg problem only my ps3 is really old so it freezes some times so it needs a restart. but i love my ps3 more than i do whit my xbox. ps3 is magic xbox is xbox
@Noblechief12345 well, many of the PS3 problems are caused by the PS3 itself, not the programming of the game. Especially the frame rate issues, which is caused by the low RAM of the system.
@kRoniKBuD6030 its full of bugs and glitches making it unplayable. just google it and you'll see that its a broken game on PS3! i was gonna buy it on PS3, but i did some research on it and found out its shit on it. so i picked it up on Xbox instead... in fact most multiplat games run better on Xbox 360 over the PS3!

@fan977 Sure the charaters all did sound the same but the overrall quality of the voice actin was really good. Skyrim on the other hand had alot more voice actors but most of them were pretty mediocre.

Fallout had this atmosphere that engulfed you . The combat , leveling up , dark feel and atmosphere , plot , etc were better then skyrim .

Fallout 3 is a 10/10, oblivion is a 9.7/10. And skyrim was preety good when i first played it, but the more i played it my enjoyment died really fast. After playing skyrim for a while id give it a 8/10. Definalty the weakest bethesda game, and really dumbed down. Skyrim got to repetitive and tedious for my tastes.

@smbz821 I disagree . In Fallout leveling up gave you this weird sense of satisfaction and it was more fun . In skyrim it's just i leveled up .... yea whatever . I agree about the radio 3 Dawg was kickass . And the music was good aswell both on the radio and off it both are better then skyrims . And the story in skyrim is so short i enjoyed fallouts much more . Using the Pipboy to navigate was just more fun (makes no sense i know) . Everything was just right . 160 hours on skyrim and 30 on FO3
@jtgtjtgt IMO FO3's story was decent at best it started out great but lost alot of steam by the end & many things made no sense, why did John Henry Eden ask you to do his bidding, he didn't trust the Colonel but he was willing to trust a guy who he just met, & why did Dad leave the Vault without telling you & without thinking that could also cause trouble for you. & Skyrim's main questline is longer, I finished FO 3's in 8 hours while Skyrim's main questline took me around 13 hours to finish.
@halo6534 Fallout had a better soundtrack aswell . I could go on and on . I only played Fallout for 30 hours . but in those 30 hours i had more fun then my 160+ in skyrim .

Skyrim seemed like it was made very lazy, and it lacked the color and amazing art style that oblivion had. Skyrim did improve some things and it was a good game im not denying that but like i said at the end of the day skyrim had alot of disapointments about it.
Skyrim is without a doubt the best game of 2011, but I still think it didn't deserve a 10. 9.5 is perfect because of bugs and there is still room for improvement, as there always is.

fun game lot to discover in it. i like the way bethesda did the leveling in this game. 3rd person view sucks in skyrim and sucks in fallout 3 and new vegas as well. good thing its optional.

I give Skyrim 70% haHAH. Little has changed. Difficulty level only raises stats on foes, leaving you to click on them more frequently and die more often. Zzz
Ice should freeze weapons and make enemies slip. Shock should work best with water and stagger enemies. Fire doesnt work with water, but is most damaging. Use it to make smoke barriers and scare off monsters. "Hackn slash" is too ancient for games today; hit locations matter. Sharp PIERCES, blunt CRUSHES, light is FAST, heavy FORCES etc..

Skyrim was great and all, but it got boring and the guests felt repetive. It does deserve a 9.5 or 9.0, could have better if it had co-op, than it would have been a 10. Mass effect 3 will be better by, A LOT and it has co-op.
I don't really think that co-op would be good for this game. Some things just won't work. Two player might but not multi-player WoW style. TES games weren't made to be MMORPGs
I dont get why evereyone loves skyrim that much. I mean OH MY GOD it is WAY to complicated!!! I tried to join the storm cloakes and they tell me to fight some frost giant WITHOUGHT TELLING ME THE LOCATION. I like red dead redemption better, although it got the same score as skyrim. Sometimes things are way too complicated to find out where you are supposed to go, and that was my main problem. Skyrim is not for evereybody, in fact, im returning it. It is just not my type of game.

In my opinion while I do think Skyrim is amazing and fun, I think that Oblivion was much better. This is probably because thats the first Elder Scrolls game that I played. I did play Morrowind and I guess people who played that first disagree.

@jtgtjtgt I like fallout better than skyrim for one reason alone: the atmosphere. I have to disagree with you on everything else, especially the plot. the combat in fallout isn't any better, and leveling up in skyrim is more... realistic, you don't expect to lock pick all day and when you level up spend all the skill points on something unrelated to what you were just doing like speech do you? and I like how the DJ talks about your deeds on the radio, in skyrim people don't give a shit

@smbz821 I disagree . In Fallout leveling up gave you this weird sense of satisfaction and it was more fun . In skyrim it's just i leveled up .... yea whatever . I agree about the radio 3 Dawg was kickass . And the music was good aswell both on the radio and off it both are better then skyrims . And the story in skyrim is so short i enjoyed fallouts much more . Using the Pipboy to navigate was just more fun (makes no sense i know) . Everything was just right . 160 hours on skyrim and 30 on FO3

@jtgtjtgt IMO FO3's story was decent at best it started out great but lost alot of steam by the end & many things made no sense, why did John Henry Eden ask you to do his bidding, he didn't trust the Colonel but he was willing to trust a guy who he just met, & why did Dad leave the Vault without telling you & without thinking that could also cause trouble for you. & Skyrim's main questline is longer, I finished FO 3's in 8 hours while Skyrim's main questline took me around 13 hours to finish.

@halo6534 Fallout had a better soundtrack aswell . I could go on and on . I only played Fallout for 30 hours . but in those 30 hours i had more fun then my 160+ in skyrim .

@jtgtjtgt Ya i agree skyrim lacked the amazing atmosphere that other bethesda games have had. Skyrim seemed like it was made very lazy, and it lacked the color and amazing art style that oblivion had. And ya i put maybe 85+ in skyrim and i had a ok time, i got my moneys worth for sure, but i was completeley unsatified and disapointed with skyrim. And ya i liked the khajit voices in skyrim they were pretty good but other than that the stormclock voices were fucking annoying.

@halo6534 it's fine if you prefer oblivion, but i consider skyrim better for this reason alone: YOU ACTUALY FEEL LIKE YOU'RE GETTING STRONGER! the whole point of rpgs is upgrading your character, but that seems a little pointless in oblivion, since the enemies level up with you. still a great game, but i prefer skyrim :)

@mkocja5a Ya the lvling system was preety shitty in oblivion. But it only was bad if you were like lvl 45 other than that the game was preety easy. Skyrim did improve some things and it was a good game im not denying that but like i said at the end of the day skyrim had alot of disapointments about it.

u didnt mention any bugs? and glitches.. this game lags like shit on ps3 its almost unplayable. this should get a 7 maximum out of 10 on the ps3 and 10/10 on pc.. this is just my opinion so do not judge me.

I give Skyrim 70% haHAH. Little has changed. Difficulty level only raises stats on foes, leaving you to click on them more frequently and die more often. Zzz
Ice should freeze weapons and make enemies slip. Shock should work best with water and stagger enemies. Fire doesnt work with water, but is most damaging. Use it to make smoke barriers and scare off monsters. "Hackn slash" is too ancient for games today; hit locations matter. Sharp PIERCES, blunt CRUSHES, light is FAST, heavy FORCES etc..

@rybrentmannftw as soon as skyrim have to fill in the blanks with amount of quotes because its a RPG and isn't linear, all the player needs is everyone saying something when he gets close and you can see that the guards sometimes comment about you depending on the skills you have or quest you completed, but its one step foward on voice acting because it has

Skyrim was great and all, but it got boring and the guests felt repetive. It does deserve a 9.5 or 9.0, could have better if it had co-op, than it would have been a 10. Mass effect 3 will be better by, A LOT and it has co-op.

I dont get why evereyone loves skyrim that much. I mean OH MY GOD it is WAY to complicated!!! I tried to join the storm cloakes and they tell me to fight some frost giant WITHOUGHT TELLING ME THE LOCATION. I like red dead redemption better, although it got the same score as skyrim. Sometimes things are way too complicated to find out where you are supposed to go, and that was my main problem. Skyrim is not for evereybody, in fact, im returning it. It is just not my type of game.

In my opinion while I do think Skyrim is amazing and fun, I think that Oblivion was much better. This is probably because thats the first Elder Scrolls game that I played. I did play Morrowind and I guess people who played that first disagree.
