You need to move the "blackra1n.exe" file to one of these locates (depending on if your a 64-bit or 32-bit user) and run it straight from there.

32-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

It should run perfectly from there.

That means that it failed to work because your firmware version is probably 3.1.3, it MUST be v3.1.2, you can try to restore it, but as far as I've found you can't restore it to 3.1.2 if you have a 'new' iPod Touch 3G (probably with "MC").

I have tried about 7 times. When i click "make it rain" the ipod screen shows a usb cord and an itunes disk that do not meet each other. I have the 3.1.2 firmware using windows vista. I have change to run black rain in xp version and also as an administrator. I have restarted and my computer multiple times and also reinstalled itunes. Nothing seems to work.
