@littlerosebirdie I am sorry...I cannot send you the music...All the songs on my youtube channel were played by ear and I have never written any of the music down. You should be able to find other versions of Amazing Grace to play however as it is a very popular song. :-)
this is such a stereotypical video of a harpist! long flowing dress, small harp, and playing in front of roses... hmm. angels dancing behind the harp, etc.
@therawrawr She's not ending the vibrations, she's just plucking like you normally would. I think it might seem that way because the camera can't pick up all the sound, so the harp doesn't seem as resonant as it actually is.
@therawrawr It's the harp itself....this particular make doesn't have a very good reputation in the harp community. They're mass-produced in the Middle East, but given the price and the visual ornamentation, they end up in a lot of people's hands. You can do a youtube search for "minstrel harp" and listen to other people playing the same instrument, and it's always got kind of a flat, plinky sound - almost like a banjo
@novemberainy Depends on your budget, really. Harpsicles offer great sound for the money ($400 - $600+.) You can also frequently find them used, and a used Harpsicle is by far better than a new Pakistani harp. I was fortunate enough to be living in Seattle, and was able to rent a Ravenna 26 from Dusty Strings ($700 to $1100, depending on levers.) I've since upgraded to the Ravenna 34, fully levered, and as far as I'm concerned, it's absolutely everything a beginner could want! I <3 my Ravenna!
Wonderful. It is really great how you used such a beautiful setting, fixed your hair, and wore such a pretty dress. I really like your style. :) Keep up the great work.
I think that you are very talented, but WHY are you dressed as a princesse? But it is still very nice!

i think you have a fascination with playing your harp in a medieval dress... head dress and everything.... it's like going back in time.

Seria bastante interessante se você tocasse esta música no modo 'largheto' ou 'adagio'. Beijos!'

Are your fingers suppose to abrubtly end the vibration of the strings? Sounds a bit awkward.. This is coming from a violinist! Don't get mad at me!
