I remember this so well....man I loved this game. One of my favorite moments was going into the S.T.A.R.S office and seeing the photo of them on the wall, imagining them all talk right before leaving on their final mission together.
@serclfs yes it was definitely a moving photo, going in the office...seeing each one of the remaining stars members desks empty and unorganized..then to see the photo brings you back to RE1 and you really feel for all the STARS members that passed away :(

@JLAndersen01 if you have a ps3 you can download the dual shock version for like 5 bucks there's no major difference just the added feature of rookie mode which allows you to have all the infinite weapons
@JLAndersen01 I don't see why anyone would want to play it on the n64. They had to get help from other developers to port it and it still was block as hell and the cg cinemas were dark and blurry. This was because the cartridge had lower FMV than discs. So the PS1 while not as powerful as the N64 (32bit as opposed to 64bit) arguable looked better. As for the GC versions, they're all very VERY expensive. Some going for over $50. But if you must play it on a Nintendo console, then try that one.
resident evil games were good because they LACKED multiplayer - you were ALONE in the nightmare. Not with a partner to joke around and keep your spirit up.
Also the action was like that of a tense movie.
Resident Evil weren't good at ACTION because action wasn't the idea. The STORY kept the game running.

I always tend to gag around with my friend when we play co-op a game - resident evil 5 for example turned out to be a gag fest where we would make fun of mobs rather than be scared of them.
This song gave me a sense of reassurance based on Claire's part. To come all this way to find your missing brother, only to find out that he flew the coop a long time ago before things got bad; I'd be happy because my missing brother is still out there, hopefully alive and well... But here I am, living in a nightmare, not knowing what to expect next, and wondering if I'm even gonna see him again...
Re2 was the best game Ever ... I can remember ...i was about 8 years old ... the place where leon and claire met ... my brother was just standing in the stars office to hear that beautiful music ... at this moment .. i was sad as well ... i shared my emotions with the characters ... that was a really beautiful but a sad one as well :) it really makes me upset that these times are over .. it makes me really sad that resident evil has changed into an action game ...
Oh wait its his puke in part 2...he anticipated the fact that they're gona make bad sequels with an even more pathetic movie series...and because they planned to take away the real depth and replace it with sexed up and lifeless matrix/twilight pornstar action heroes, Chris left a poo in the glove compartment of the director...

That's why when i heard this, I knew that for a moment, nothing would jump out at me, try to bite me, kill me, shoot me. For now, I had nothing to worry about., except find ammo and take a break...
