  • Do more drunk responses! :D

  • Your drunk laugh is fucking hilarious. I guess watching Rick Perry while drunk is similar to watching Archie Bunker whilst stoned.

  • Fucking love it

  • Last year the December before I graduated high school. Our high school was so decorated with lights, paper, bells it looked like the engine room of the starship enterprise. Not allowed to celebrate christmas my ass. Rick Perry, Self rightous, xenophopic fuck!

  • article 11 of the treaty of tripoli "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion" Thanks John Adams and US senate!

  • We love Rick's Brokeback look

  • this may sound stupid but whats a shite

  • Wow. I've seen your channel before, but never really looked closely at it. Now that I have... you, sir, are an absolute genius.

  • Comment removed

  • this is so funny when you're baked.

  • Are you fake-drunk or real drunk?

  • Rick Perry is a dumbass...

  • Comment removed

  • You're a twat! LOL

  • Who do you support for U.S 2012 elections?

  • @irbk500 Well, I'm not an American citizen, so I obviously can't vote, but I hope Obama is re-elected.

  • You're so cute when you're drunk!

  • Was I the only one who was waiting for him to say "No you aren't!" when he ended with "I'm Rick Perry"?

  • brokeback jacket

  • I love how you point out the obvious but with emphatic, drunk indignation.

  • You amuse me whilst drunk. lol

  • Hey Latum ;) if you catch this comment I suggest you look up someone on YouTube called "MarmiteMan4" if you have some time take a lookeyloo you won't regret it, it's like accidental comedy, also if you have the time, maybe reviews his 'logics' if can even call them that. :D

  • I agree with you 100%! Rick Perry needs to crawl back under that rock where he obviously originated! Nice response to that jackass. (He does fool lots of folks, though!) Rick Perry is just one of a collection of twats who want to be President of the U. S. Thanks for this video.

  • I'm ashamed Christians exist.

  • This was too short. I wanted it to be a bit more.

  • Your chin got a bit spitty in this one. I love it. Rick Perry is filled with vaginal seepage and ignorance. Plus, I get that creepy child-molester vibe from him.

  • @slapjackrock Please don't insult vagina's by insulting your Rick Perry into them.

  • @TextualFury LOLOLOL, trust me, I don't want Rick Perry to have anything to do with MY vagina.

  • This made me lawl!

  • You are so drunk. Love it.

  • I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm an atheist. But you don't have to rant on youtube everyday to know that there's something wrong in this country when an Englishman knows more about it than the people campaigning to lead. As an American, I'll fight to end these idiots' belief that this country should be lead by the poly-interpretable doctrine of an unprovable being. Logic made America strong and it can make him strong again. I'm Ginnystolemyman, and I approve this message.

  • meh. bring back some controversy, like being a veggie.

  • Drunk Latum has more common sense than sober Rick Perry. Kinda makes me wonder how drunk Perry is like.

  • @temporarily1nsan3 Just search "drunk Rick Perry" on youtube and you will see. He gave a speech not long ago during which he seemed quite inebriated.

  • The red and white stripes on the thumbnail for this vid remind me of the rays from an old Japanese rising sun

  • I wish my fellow Americans read the Establishment Clause the way you do. Unfortunately, many do not.

  • lol i love your laugh at the very end.

  • It's both hilarious and a bit scary that you can be this drunk and still crush Rick Perrys idiocy. To think, this guy was the front runner for the nomination once..

  • doesnt it matter you live inn uk right

  • 2:44-2:53 Loled so hard.

Also, I find it hilarious that you make more sense when you're drunk than he does when he's sober.

  • Best response. Ever.

  • You don't need to be sober to PWN Perry.

  • By the by, Perry is wearing the same jacket that Heath Ledger wore in Broke Back Mountain.

  • This is what having an audience does to an individual.

And yes, mr Perry is a cunt.

  • I think you should do a Drink until blacking out blogtv show (with penut butter)

  • the last like 10 seconds was the best haha

  • your face looks tasty.

  • The best. <3

  • I love you when you're drunk.

  • You need to be drunk more often

  • He doesn't deserve a sober response. Nice one.

  • damn, a drunken English guy just verbally slayed a presidential candidate for one of the most powerful countries in the world in 3 minutes

  • Ahhh Jacob I do love you....I mean your videos!

    The "I'm Rick Perry"

"You're a twat!" bit utterly floored me with laughter. Even my mum liked it!!!!

Congrats on successfully owning the div! =)

  • I love your drunk videos!

  • Happy day of indeterminable religious significance!

  • That was better then theamazingatheist Rick Perry video. New big fan....

  • This video made me want to throw heavy, metal, inanimate objects at your head. Don't get me wrong though, I still agree with your response to Rick Perry. I'm just sayin is all..

  • @g0dh4x Oh how lovely.

  • @g0dh4x oh you're just mad that I banned you.

    Where is your you now?

  • When you're drunk you sound like Matt Smith with his mouth full of fish fingers and custard.

  • If this is what you manage to do whilst drunk, we should get a blogtv or something goin': "Send LatumWay booze!"

  • I thought the largest military build up in the history of the world is what made America strong. RATS fooled again! @0@

  • Even a drunk man can't tell that Rick Perry is an idiot.

  • Attention Rick Perry. REAL CHRISTIANS who follow the law of jesus, of love one another, are ashamed and horrified you would dare to call your bigoted, self righteous, Holier than Thou, ass, a christian. How dare you subvert and hijack our religion to your purposes and agenda of spreading fear, promoting hate and inciting violence? SHAME ON YOU!

  • The only christians being hounded in the USA are idiots like you Rick Perry, who have no clue as to what it means to be a christian. And that goes for the rest of the candidates, GOP/TPers and their corporate overlords.

  • You are so drunk.

  • @decojuicer U R MY BEST FRIEND

  • @LatumWay

haha was it a student night or somthing?

  • AT LatumWay,

    I... I love you man.

Especially when... (Don't remember what I was gonna say, but it was gonna be flattering).

    WHINE IS GREAT WOOOH

    What where you drinking?

  • @LatumWay You have that kind of laugh that makes other people laugh on general principle. lol That could be a very potent weapon if used correctly.

  • Please don't misconstrue this as me sticking up for Rick Perry... but I think you misunderstood the opening statement of his video. When he claims to "not be ashamed to admit he's a Christian". I think he's taking a jab at the current president who, in some people's opinion, seems extremely ashamed to be a Christian, if he is one at all.

Also, which founding document contains the phrase "separation of church and state"?

  • @thereprieve So in order to be a Christian president, saying you are a Christian and going to church isn't enough? You have to act like you're being persecuted. Ahhh I get it now.

And no where is "separation of church and state" written (to my knowledge), but its the understanding of the intent and function of the Est. Clause of the 1st Amendment. Just because its not written explicitly in the way its now understood and talked about doesn't mean it doesn't exist as a concept.

  • @LatumWay - "So in order to be a Christian president, saying you are a Christian and going to church isn't enough?"

Not what I'm saying at all. I'm just saying that the current guy is highly likely pretending to be a Christian. I don't care one way or another what he is, much like Perry. But I don't think anyone should ever have to be less than proud of what or who they are to win a job. Would you want a proud gay person fora president, or one who hides it?

  • @thereprieve Have you read Obama's books? Have you seen him in interviews, openly professing his adherence to Christianity?

What makes you think he's lying? I mean, he goes to church, talks about his beliefs, has openly professed to being a Christian... why do you think he's lying, and what does he have to do to convince you he is a genuine follower of Christ?

  • @LatumWay - I read "Dream from my Father". Do you want a book report or is there relevance to that question?

"openly professing his adherence to Christianity"

Most politicians would sacrifice their mothers to become president, it means very little to say you are a Christian. "If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen." -John 4:20...

  • Obama is a politician, and nothing more. He does not have to convince me that he's a Christian, he only has to convince God. If he is a Christian, I would expect that he does something Christ-like. If he really wanted to convince me, he could denounce the false prophet Mohammed. Yet, when it comes to affairs of that nature, he embraces Islam. I have no problem loving a muslim, but I will never hide from the fact that they worship a false God.

  • @thereprieve

    Ha.......arrogance.

  • @thereprieve "muslim[s] ... worship a false God." The sweet irony here being that Christianity and Islam both worship the same god. Have a nice day :)

  • @MonotonePeanut - oh, the ingnorance!

  • @thereprieve So what exactly are you basing your belief that he's probably not a Christian on?

  • @LatumWay - On more than one occassion, he's made the claim that there are "many paths to Heaven" (in some form or another). In John 14:6, Jesus says otherwise. He has claimed that Jews, muslims, and Christians worship the same God.

He was the only one of Illinois 100 congressmen to vote against the "born alive" act that made it a law to perform life-saving acts on a child that survived abortion. does that sound like a Christian way to vote? (more...)

  • ... According to a 2007 interview, when asked if he believed in sin, he said “Yes.” But when asked to define it, Obama said sin is, “Being out of alignment with my values.”

He said he feels most aligned spiritually “when I’m being true to myself.” Biblically speaking, sin is breaking God's moral law. It's not something to be perverted toward our own view(s).

Read Cathleen Falsani's 2004 Huffington Post interview where he claims Christianity, but that his roots are deep elsewhere.

  • @thereprieve Some Christians believe that all of the Bible is metaphorical, or that Christ died on a vertical post instead of a cross, or that the soul is not immortal... Christians vary very much in their beliefs. I think you're using very strict and unfair parameters to determine his faith - essentially saying 'he's not a true Christian because he doesn't fit MY definition of what one is".

At the very least, surely you take him at his word - he follows Christ. Therefore he is a Christian.

  • @LatumWay - The vertical post is minor and not as significant as the inability to acknowledge what sin is or who saves you from the wages of it.

So what parameters would you suggest that I use? In other words, I am a lamp post. There are many definitions of a lamp post, and many have different concepts of what a lamp post consists of. I said I am one so that makes me one?

  • @thereprieve The 'vertical post thing' was to illustrate a point. Obviously if he was saying he was a Christian, but going out and living his life as a Sikh, that would be counter intuitive. But like I keep saying, he goes to church, he says he is a Christian and he follows Christ. Bottom line - you are saying he is not a 'true Christian' because he has differing opinions of Christianity. That's the issue here, and frankly, its ridiculous.

  • @LatumWay - He's been to church twice this year, once on Easter Sunday and then this last Sunday right after New Gingrich called him out on his faith. He cannot be considered a christian by any acceptable definition of the word. Maybe some modern "it's all about me" definition, but not by any historical account.

  • @LatumWay

Actually, as far as I know the "wall of separation between church and state" was a term coined by Jefferson. In a letter to the Danbury Baptists explaining what the intent and function of the first amendment is. So, while it's not written in the constitution, it's explicitly stated by Jefferson himself that that is what it means.

  • @blackplatypus - When, exactly, was Jefferson king of America?

  • @thereprieve

How is Obama ashamed to be a Christian? :|

He does the whole God bless America shtick every US politician does at the end of their speech. Sure, Obama's not bringing it up constantly like Bush, the (supposedly) born-again Evangelical Christian...but that's because Obama's not a born again fundie Christian. That doesn't make him any less of a Christian though, and it'd be ridiculous to try and claim so.

No document contains the exact phrase, but the intent is conveyed

  • @thereprieve

    Question:

It seems to me that, almost invariably, the more loudly a given politician proclaims that he/she is a Christian and would like to implement policies inspired by his/her religious convictions, the more likely they are to be a manipulative, phoney, douchebag who couldn't be less interested in loving their neighbor, turning the other cheek, and other christ-like behavior.

Aren't we better off just going with a secular government instead of rewarding this?

  • @bowlsallbroken "Aren't we better off just going with a secular government instead of rewarding this? "

Secular governments, historically speaking, don't have much of a track record to run on either. As I said to Latumway, why be ashamed of who you are? We elect you because of who you are, or at minimum, who you pretend to be. Obama had to pretend to be a Christian in order to save votes he likely would have lost if he said he was a muslim or an atheist... or whatever else he may actually be.

  • @thereprieve

I just love how Obama attended a Christian church (please don't No True Scotsman) regularly for years and people think he's a secret Muslim/Atheist, while McCain was *not* a regular churchgoer and people gave him a free pass on the religious test. I think we all know what this is really about, don't we?

My point is that the intersection of religion and government is all about manipulation and that embracing it won't bring the sincerely religious a "godly State".

  • @bowlsallbroken - You are either intnetionally misunderstanding me, or playing dumb.. .not sure which.

My wife's best friend has attended a catholic church since she married her catholic husband 10 years ago, but is no more a catholic than you are. Going to church is not a litmus test of one's Christianity. As I've said (repeatedly now) be proud of who you are... don't pretend to be something you're not just to win elections. It speaks of cowardice.

  • @thereprieve

I'll take you're word for it that your wife's friend isn't sincerely Catholic, seeing as *you know her* and all.

Are you personally acquainted with Pres. Obama?

"don't pretend to be something you're not just to win elections. It speaks of cowardice."

I couldn't agree more vehemently! We should apply this standard even to people we otherwise agree with (this goes for both of us).

  • @bowlsallbroken Kind of like how Obama releases his birth certificate to prove he was born in this country while McCain gets a free pass even though McCain actually was born in another country. He was born in Panama. The irony is palpable.

  • @NimbusDX - McCain was born to 2 american citizens serving in the military and the congress reviewed his eligibility before he could run for president. Obama only born to one American parent (who may or may not have lost her citizenship when she married a foreigner), produced very little proof of where he was born, and faced no congressional inquiry. Yes amigo, the irony is palpable.

  • @NimbusDX

Well, it's not people asking the questions in regards to Obama that bothers me, it's the insistence on spinning conspiracy yarns in lieu of accepting the real answers to said questions.

Again, I think we know where this is really coming from.

  • @bowlsallbroken I fully agree. Some people will never be satisfied no matter how much documentation is provided.

After all, why bother with the boring old truth when insane conspiracies are ever so much more thrilling? ;)

  • @thereprieve legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

  • @MATTman101wow - Can I establish my religion in a school? What about a bible study in the lunchroom? Sounds to me like laws have been made against the free exercise and establishment of religion. Before you get ahead of yourself, I'm not arguing that you should be allowed to do either of those things, only pointing out the hypocrisy,

  • @thereprieve No, and no. Maybe in a private school that allows it, but not in public schools where other children will have differing beliefs from you, and is sponsored by the state which cannot respect any establishment of religion. Also, I was just pointing out the quote that protects your right to have a Bible study, on your own terms, on your own property, or on the property of your religious place of worship. What is wrong with doing Bible study in your own church anyway?

  • @MATTman101wow - Nothing whatsoever. Furthermore I should be permitted to hold a bible study in my own home with fellow believers... yet, if you check out some other news news sources (not the MSM - Fox included) you'll find that many in-home bible studies are being targeted and shut down in areas with high muslim populations.

Answer me this: If it's wrong for a teacher to tell my child about God while in school, why can the same teacher tell my child that God doesn't exist while in school?

  • @thereprieve Has a teacher told your child that there isn't a God while in school?

  • @MATTman101wow - The question is whether or not a teacher "can". Keeps it less personal that way.

  • @thereprieve So, when has it happened to you, your kid, or someone's child that you know?

  • @MATTman101wow - February 23, 2010 @ 9:43am. In Mr. Vogt's 7th grade science class in a small Northeast Ohio town. Now answer my question.

  • @thereprieve I don't think it is right to tell a child that there is no God. I also think it's kinda mean to point out there's no Santa Clause either.

  • @thereprieve "Answer me this: If it's wrong for a teacher to tell my child about God while in school, why can the same teacher tell my child that God doesn't exist while in school?"

Going back to my time in High School (fairly recently, and in Florida near a fairly redneck town), teachers would actively avoid the subject because of these concerns, because the legal issue seems to be that public schools are not the place for religion. Note: that means telling your child God does/does not exist.

  • @thereprieve "What about a bible study in the lunchroom?"

Nothing is legally stopping you. I know for a fact that in my High School the lunchroom was used for the Campus Crusade for Christ on almost a daily basis, not to mention the time on the weekends that school grounds (namely the auditorium and/or gymnasium), and the times my religious friends would have their impromptu Bible study outside of class. None of this was illegal because it wasn't taking government funds and promoting religion.

  • 1:23 Great drunk slur.

  • I approve this message.

  • We are so fucked

  • A British Citizen knows more about the founding of America than an American Presidential candidate, therefore, us Americans are a bunch of fucking idiots

  • @loveofphysics ...in a nutshell

  • @loveofphysics just goes to show you that the GOP agenda of underfunding education in our country is working, and that the more uneducated you are the easier it is to control and manipulate you. Thankfully, not ALL Americans are this ignorant. It is no longer taught in schools to learn how to reason and think for ones self, to read between the lines and lies.

  • You went a bit Joker there for a while.

There isn't much to say about this add. It's just the same old talking points that have been refuted over and over again.

  • this is exactly how seriously that bunch-of-crap message should be taken everywhere. :DDD

  • Jacob you need to be drunk in more videos XD

  • @dooomninja I second the motion.

  • How is it England has a state church, It stays the fuck out of politics. But America claims it has no state religion but Christianity can't stay the fuck out of government?

  • There are a lot of people who saw that ad who really liked it, and thought Rick Perry made some great points.

    They are all. Fucking. Idiots.

Every last motherfucking one of them.

  • Isn't it funny that the UK still technically has a state religion and yet is more secular in practice than the US?

  • i can see a strong positiv correlation between the ammount of alcohol in your blood and the quality of your videos.(at least when it comes to entertainment)

  • Brilliant work :) LOLs Great Laugh !!! You must get pissed on camera more often

  • the fact that the advert hasn't sunk Perry's campaign all bny itself, is incredibly disspiriting.

  • My friend burst into laughter as soon as you started talking. She really likes you.

  • You are very drunk in this video and it makes me chuckle...

  • What the fuck is wrong with him? YT belongs to us.

  • Hahaha brilliant!

  • your a fucking winner

    :D

  • "British teen calls presidential candidate 'Twat!' "

You'll get arrested when he becomes president. And you know Rick's policy on the death penalty..

  • Watching you whilst drunk makes me wonder what I've sounded like over the past couple hours. Is that good? I'm not sure if that's good.

  • I came across this video after it was posted to Facebook by a group called "I bet this turkey can get more fans than NOM." I watched it at approximately 10:30 pm CST, I loved this video so much I started watching your other videos, it's now approximately 2:50 am CST. Unfortunately Rick Perry is my governor. But you are a beacon of light in my otherwise dreary, GOP run existence. Bless your heart.

  • I loled hardcore this is awesome :D

  • I love it when you're drunk.

  • Everybody and their mother made a response to that piece of shit, and I love you when you are drunk.

  • Why are you like that when you're drunk..

  • I feel that my also being drunk right now increases my enjoyment of your video, Jacob. Good times...

  • lol so funny! No it won't!! :)

  • True fact: Most people can make better arguments drunk than Rick Perry could sober.

  • I just want to say, through all the responses on youtube, I have cumulatively seen the "proud" commercial more times than I have ever seen any commercial, ever. And I am permanently damaged from it. You all suck.

  • now that's a good way to start the day, watching drunk jacob!

  • xD Drunk Jacob is funny, man!! I laughed for a good 15 mins before I was comprehensible.

  • I *love* this video, one of your funniest for ages Jacob! x

  • You know more about our laws and history that backwoods good ole boy.

  • lol I love drunk Latumway!

  • You need to do more of these videos. I find the sides of my lips twitching upwards...that's a good sign, right?

  • lol, I guess when we all know everything about the subject the only way to make it more interesting is to recited it drunk.

  • Best reaction ever!

  • Drunk LatumWay is more American than a candidate for President....sigh...

  • If I was drunk when I did mine, I (1) wouldn't have been this funny, and (2) would have been much, much angrier.

  • Some of the founding fathers were not Christian, but few of the idiotic people in the US today will admit that.

  • This is the best response ever :D

  • Rick's video can be summed up as such: "I'm Rick Perry, and if you hate fags and blacks like I do, vote for me!"

Absolute fucking moron, and I can't believe it's acceptable for this to be shown as a nomination plug.

  • "Americur is not a Christian nation." I'm tearing up and gasping for air! You're hilarious and you make tons more sense drunk than these tw*ts do sober. X-P

  • Does anyone know the irony that Rick Perry is wearing the jacket from Brokeback Mountain in that video? :D

  • Awesome video! You cracked me up, not to mention that this Rick "I'm a homophobe and a bigot and proud of it" Perry has to stop. Enough with Christians controlling other people's lives. Thank you!

  • I'd been hoping all weekend that you'd do a response video to that, and never had I dreamed it would be another one of your delightfully drunk ones. Next round is on me.

  • I am in love with you and your drunk laugh and the noises you make when you're amazed

  • I'm ashamed to admit. Dick Perry is the smartest man in the USA. I am Slapnuts, and I aprove this message.

  • @Slapnuts6931 haha!

  • "It's time someone had the courage to stand up and say: I'm against those things that everybody hates." "

  • Finally! A presidential candidate with the BALLS to stand up and say "Hey! I believe in the things the people who will vote for me believe in!"

He's NOT ashamed to let EVERYONE know that his position is the same as the majority of the voters in the country. BRA-FUCKIN-VO! What a brave, brave man!

  • @GallusSapien Except that the majority of the voters think he's wrong. Hmmmm.

  • When you're drunk it's really obvious that you're faking the English accent :P

  • This video was awesome. I'm sloth7d and I approve this post.

  • Good drunken rant! :P
