hey Lizards821. I'm using snowbreeze to update my iphone to ios 5.0.1. For some reason when I'm trying to update I get error 1602. I don't get any errors when I'm trying to downgrade from 4.3.3 to 4.3.X. so what can I do? I have shsh blobs, I use tinyumbrella with everything checked in the advance settings, use ireb, and before downgrading I edit my host file.

@VideoTur This will not work with the iPad 2, since Redsn0w does not recognize iPad 2 Firmware files. Put your iPad 2 in DFU mode manually.

I'm using 5.0.1 and it's not fixed and it still shows error 1600 even after I followed this video. BTW I have no problem turning the phone on and use it but it's in jailbroken mode and I'd like to restore it to 'unjailbroken' mode, however I'm unable to do so and keep getting this stupid error 1600.

The reason I'm trying to restore back to 'unjailbroken' mode is because I've switched carrier recently and my new carrier is not showing. I have this 'no service' all the time and I'm in good area.

I have put my device into DFU Mode, started the TSS Server on Tinyumbrella version 5.10.02 (latest). I get past verifying restore, but when I reach "iTunes is preparing this iPad for restore" I get error 1600. I cannot use redsnow (Can I?) to boot pwned. Please advise me. ok, now i have a problem. when i downgraded to 4.3.3 from 4.3.4, it went through the process, but my ipod never woke back up.... nothing is displayed on the screen at all and nothing happens to it. the only thing i can do is shift+restore on itunes to 4.3.3. it goes through the process and that's the only time it'll display ANYTHING and it only displays the updating bar and the apple logo. after it finishes it's "update" to 4.3.3 it just blacks out again and doesnt reboot. Help!

Hey, im trying to put my iphone 4 into the PWN dfu mode but redsnow isnt letting me. My device is both off (i think since there is no backlight) and is connected to the computer but i still cant click the next button.

Also, i tried to do the thing with the ipsw but it keeps saying that this ipsw is not supported with this version of red snow.

I tried looking at your other videos and i downloaded snowbreeze and built a custom ipsw file to try and update from there butstill didnt work.Any Ideas?

I found the solution for error 1. You need to download the latest of Redsnow. And run the recovery fix. It should work.
