@Nightmaricvision In REAL life, not really. Fredrick Fleet and Reginald Lee noted a haze or something ahead of them at 11:30. They've recently discovered that when one of the Titanic's officers was relieved as part of last-minute crew assignment, he accidentally took the key to the locker where the binoculars were.
I'm convinced the people involved with this film did not consult the hundreds of Titanic historians out there.
