Like any band, they have good nights and awful ones. Saw them in L.A. last summer and it was phenomenal. By contrast, the previous time I saw them 3 years earlier was dreadful. Oh, no doubt, that pit was insane! I had to bail and move to the sidewalk on Darryl's side because I had made the mistake of stopping at Amoeba and picking up a few LP's first. I think that if they really want to play live again they need another singer.
H.R. just can't do it anymore, the rest of the band is energetic enough and they play very well. I think they should reconsider Chuck Mosley.
