What's even scarier is that his collection doesn't even come close to 5% of what's out there...there are THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS of TF figures from various lines. Pretty impressive. Must be a pain to maintain it all though. I have a nice size Macross/Robotech/PVC figure collection that gets dusty all the time. And having to move my collection a couple times was not easy.

While I don't collect Transformers, I see nothing odd or childish in collecting them at all. Most collections essentially are based upon the memories of our youth and what made us happy then, be it stamps, coins, toys, etc. True collectors while having a fondness of the past, does not mean we live it in the present. It's just a small segment of our lives which brings us extra joy. For some of us it's restoring a classic car for others it's Transformers. ~Gods Blessings~.

this vid is what got me starting to collect again! I stopped collecting when energon aired. I hated it so much that I actually stopped collecting them.
I bought the Star Wars Transformers when they first came out, but they just didn't have the same "feel" to me as the regular Transformers toys. I eventually gave my Star Wars Transformers to my son, who immediately proclaimed that I was the coolest dad in the world, so I guess it was a fair trade. :) I will say that the vehicle modes for the Star Wars Transformers are really nice and I love the concept of Transformers crossover toys, but I just wasn't as impressed with the robots modes...
Never watch the cartoons shows, never watched the old movie, never played with the toys, never bort the toys. I only like Transformers coz of ILM's CGI work on the movie, 36 hours to pre-render 1 frame of film, thats a lot of information. That and the cinimatography, Michal Bay is the shit!!!
Some of my favorite movies are by Michael Bay: Armageddon, The Rock, and now Transformers! His movies are sooo much fun to watch over and over again! This video won me a trip to ILM Studios to see how they made the movie - words cannot describe how cool that place is!! They said their computers are so powerful, that if they had a direct connection, they could download the entire Library of Congress in about 8 hours..! Think about that for a minute - truly awesome!!

I like to think so! :) It's taken me a looong time to acquire these toys, and I do take pride in my collection - it's nice to see so many other people sharing that admiration for it! Well, the writer's strike is finally over in Hollywood, so now they can get back to working on Transformers 2! I loved the first movie, and I can't wait until next year for the sequel!
I do collect some of the Japanese toys; I don't have a whole lot of them, but I'm going to BotCon this year with the intention of finding a bunch more Japanese toys! The older Japanese toys have some radically different designs and gimmicks than the U.S. toys, and I want to get some of those unique toys! :)
Man, how do you pick and choose what your favorite Transfomers toy is? That's like picking a favorite child; they're all so special in their own way... LOL! I suppose one of my favorites has to be G1 Shockwave; he was the very first Transformer I ever got. I also really like Vector Prime from the Cybertron toy line. He looks like a royal knight, with gold trim and the wings folded up like a cape on his back, and he's got a sword. Also, his face looks a lot like the Autobot symbol - hmm...

I totally agree; Transformers are incredibly awesome! Now that I'm older, I can appreciate the complex design and architecture that goes into each figure, and I think it's amazing how they incorporate most of their weapons and accessories into their alt-modes now. But I mostly like to remember the time before I knew all that stuff, when it was just fun to play with them! It was a carefree time in my childhood, and Transformers help take me back... :)
So,say that you wake up one morning and somebody replaced all your Transformers(including the pictures,movies,ect)with Barbie Dolls,how do you think you will react and if you could not recover anything,what would you do?
If that were to happen, I'd probably have a psychotic break. I'd most likely just pretend that all the Barbie dolls were still my Transformers, and I'd try to transform them and bend and break their little limbs into piles of plastic that, to me, look like a car or a plane, but would really be just a pile of broken plastic. Then I'd curl up into a fetal position in the corner of my room and rock back and forth while singing the Transformers theme...
I get up Saturday mornings now to watch Transformers Animated, right before I have to go to work; I'm really liking the new character designs, and I can't wait for the toys to be released!
WOW!!!!nice collection, men i got a question for you, i´m thinking on buy the Megatron Masterpiece for my collection but i`ve read some reviews from some people who bought the toy, and they said that´s very complicated to transform because it got some parts that easily get broken and rusty (the feet); i guess you got this toy, i´m asking if you got that kind of experince with Meg´s or you get lucky and that problems don´t appear?
I'm kind of torn with Masterpiece Magatron; I actually have not bought him yet, for the same reason you're asking about here. I've heard a bunch of negative things about his construction, like the rust, which is really odd, I think, that rust would show up so soon after the toy is released... Maybe it's just certain people's toys? I don't know, but I'm sure I'll end up getting him sooner or later; when I do, I'll make sure to let you know my personal experiences with how good a toy it is. :)

I think you might be remembering the Transformers movie incorrectly - Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime are the same Autobot. If you remember, when Prime was dying, he passed the Matrix on to Ultra Magnus, who was not "chosen" by the matrix to be the new leader, and consequently was killed by Scourge and the sweeps (and later rebuilt by the Junkions). Hot Rod, however, was able to open the matrix at the end, which changed him into the new Autobot leader, Rodimus Prime.
Many of the sealed toys I have are duplicates of ones that I already opened; I might find them in the "clearance" aisle of the store or something and just pick up a few extra ones at a discount. Some of them are just repaints of other toys I already have, and some of them are error/misprint packages...

Hey man, PROPS!!! I collect some 80's toys for the nostalgia and always appreciate the effort of others with their collection and man do have a collection. Thanks for taking the time to show it off, it's good to know some of these TF are in good hands, keep up the good work! And make sure the smoke alarms are working and that there is a fire extinguisher handy!

I bought the Star Wars Transformers when they first came out, but they just didn't have the same "feel" to me as the regular Transformers toys. I eventually gave my Star Wars Transformers to my son, who immediately proclaimed that I was the coolest dad in the world, so I guess it was a fair trade. :) I will say that the vehicle modes for the Star Wars Transformers are really nice and I love the concept of Transformers crossover toys, but I just wasn't as impressed with the robots modes...

Never watch the cartoons shows, never watched the old movie, never played with the toys, never bort the toys. I only like Transformers coz of ILM's CGI work on the movie, 36 hours to pre-render 1 frame of film, thats a lot of information. That and the cinimatography, Michal Bay is the shit!!!

Some of my favorite movies are by Michael Bay: Armageddon, The Rock, and now Transformers! His movies are sooo much fun to watch over and over again! This video won me a trip to ILM Studios to see how they made the movie - words cannot describe how cool that place is!! They said their computers are so powerful, that if they had a direct connection, they could download the entire Library of Congress in about 8 hours..! Think about that for a minute - truly awesome!!

I like to think so! :) It's taken me a looong time to acquire these toys, and I do take pride in my collection - it's nice to see so many other people sharing that admiration for it! But don't think that it's done yet - oh, no, we got the new Transformers Animated toys coming out later on this year, and I'm going to BotCon this year to buy a whole bunch more toys! Looks like I gotta build more shelves on my walls... lol

Well, the writer's strike is finally over in Hollywood, so now they can get back to working on Transformers 2! I loved the first movie, and I can't wait until next year for the sequel!
I do collect some of the Japanese toys; I don't have a whole lot of them, but I'm going to BotCon this year with the intention of finding a bunch more Japanese toys! The older Japanese toys have some radically different designs and gimmicks than the U.S. toys, and I want to get some of those unique toys! :)

Man, how do you pick and choose what your favorite Transfomers toy is? That's like picking a favorite child; they're all so special in their own way... LOL! I suppose one of my favorites has to be G1 Shockwave; he was the very first Transformer I ever got. I also really like Vector Prime from the Cybertron toy line. He looks like a royal knight, with gold trim and the wings folded up like a cape on his back, and he's got a sword. Also, his face looks a lot like the Autobot symbol - hmm...

I just got my first TFs (two of 'em) only like three weeks ago ^///^ Yeah Vector Prime's cool w/ his gears and sweet trim XD He's funny on Cybertron. He reminds me of my grandpa so much XD Never noticed the resemblance w/ the Autobot symbol though before you mentioned it >_> Ur right though. Lol, yeah I asked an evil question >:D

I totally agree; Transformers are incredibly awesome! Now that I'm older, I can appreciate the complex design and architecture that goes into each figure, and I think it's amazing how they incorporate most of their weapons and accessories into their alt-modes now. But I mostly like to remember the time before I knew all that stuff, when it was just fun to play with them! It was a carefree time in my childhood, and Transformers help take me back... :)

So,say that you wake up one morning and somebody replaced all your Transformers(including the pictures,movies,ect)with Barbie Dolls,how do you think you will react and if you could not recover anything,what would you do?

If that were to happen, I'd probably have a psychotic break. I'd most likely just pretend that all the Barbie dolls were still my Transformers, and I'd try to transform them and bend and break their little limbs into piles of plastic that, to me, look like a car or a plane, but would really be just a pile of broken plastic. Then I'd curl up into a fetal position in the corner of my room and rock back and forth while singing the Transformers theme...
Hopefully, that never happens.

WOW!!!!nice collection, men i got a question for you, i´m thinking on buy the Megatron Masterpiece for my collection but i`ve read some reviews from some people who bought the toy, and they said that´s very complicated to transform because it got some parts that easily get broken and rusty (the feet); i guess you got this toy, i´m asking if you got that kind of experince with Meg´s or you get lucky and that problems don´t appear?

I'm kind of torn with Masterpiece Magatron; I actually have not bought him yet, for the same reason you're asking about here. I've heard a bunch of negative things about his construction, like the rust, which is really odd, I think, that rust would show up so soon after the toy is released... Maybe it's just certain people's toys? I don't know, but I'm sure I'll end up getting him sooner or later; when I do, I'll make sure to let you know my personal experiences with how good a toy it is. :)

I think you might be remembering the Transformers movie incorrectly - Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime are the same Autobot. If you remember, when Prime was dying, he passed the Matrix on to Ultra Magnus, who was not "chosen" by the matrix to be the new leader, and consequently was killed by Scourge and the sweeps (and later rebuilt by the Junkions). Hot Rod, however, was able to open the matrix at the end, which changed him into the new Autobot leader, Rodimus Prime.

Many of the sealed toys I have are duplicates of ones that I already opened; I might find them in the "clearance" aisle of the store or something and just pick up a few extra ones at a discount. Some of them are just repaints of other toys I already have, and some of them are error/misprint packages...
