ONLY WORKS IN DAYLIGHT HOURS!!! It is identical to cutting hole in roof to let sun in. Is better only because rain, cold & heat do not come in because the soda bottle seals the hole with the caulk. JUST LIKE A HOLE WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN THERE IS NO LIGHT. Adds nothing to a room that already has good windows, only difference being the roof is always pointed toward sun but a window is not always toward where the sun is..
