As I recall, it was Obama's campaign that called Bill Clinton racist for being critical of his chances of being elected. So yes, the Dems will play the race card when convenient and it's pretty easy to see they are criticizing "her" experience vs. two candidates who have never held an executive office. On style, I give this speech a B+, on substance, she failed miserably. She fulfilled her purpose: attack Obama and the media.
Now, after that speech, it going to be difficult for Republican to argue that she should be treated delicacy while, at the same time, be used as an attack dog.

They also are allowed to use symbolism, pregnancy, tragic events, and religion. If a democrat did this it would be in poor taste. They can mention all of the above things and that is change? *yawn*, the same tactics from the same old Bush-like playbook. As an independent, I hurried home last night to watch this speech. I caught the tail end of Giuliani and was disgusted with what I saw. Then Palin came...and it got worse! I wanted to hear policy. I wanted to know EXACTLY what her and McCain are going to do to help this failing economy. All I heard was a lot of venom coming out of this nasty woman's mouth. Sorry, the GOP lost my vote last night.
