Some other riders have said that it's not all it's cracked up to be. It is less travel time to good roads around me too
Appears you are steering motocross style instead of counter steering. Push right grip to turn right, PUSH left grip to flick bike left. You will be amazed at how much a couple of days with Keith Code will do to advance your riding. Don't be a turd...take a weekend and learn some basics.

Wide angle cams show speed a bit better, but the wide angle makes curves look straight. Narrow angle cams, such as this one, makes travel look slower but represent curves a bit better.This particular spot is known for accidents (as denoted by the numerous black marks in the curve). They're certainly not the best riders, but they're not bad.
@spideyzx6r the zxr range is better then the gixr mainly zx7r, it take alot more skill to handle the zx7r than gsxr 750 i found. the weight of the zx7 compared to the gsxr, gixer is so light ya just throw them around the corner.

@danmu Having been there... I would have guessed the speed was a little over 30 but definitely within the norm that people drive on the road there. Heck, that road is flat out scary at 25mph at dusk. Those turns are unbelievably sharp.
The "funny" part is the couple nearby who was more concerned about voicing their opinion about his riding habits than finding out if he was alright. Make sure he still has all his body parts first, then chastise him later.
I've got a fun route picked out that I normally run alone. I'd hate to think someone would rather yell at me than find out if I'm still alive should something happen.

We will all go down one or more times, let's just hope the bruises are small and are egos become wise. That road takes many, many bikes (google Deals Gap for info). To improve skill, it's almost always necessary to ride slightly above your limit (i.e., push yourself)....and sometimes shit happens. Nothing wrong with that.

Rag on the dude's choice of gear, not his riding style. At least he wasn't afraid of leaning his bike, other than him not leaning far enough off the bike it was fine he just made a bad judgement in a turn. It happens to all riders; I would also assume he was tight against the bike because he didn't have knee sliders on.
Great attitude on the guy who wrecked, it would be hard for me not to punch that cunt in the face.

I admire how your friend placed a positive outlook on a very serious situation, and yes it was his fault ultimately. Secondly, I'd hope he learned his lesson from his and decided to by some LEATHER/PADDED leggings, because those jeans probably did a number on his leg. Lady was a bitch, but she was probably just mad that she almost witnessed someone die. Overall, the bluecollar attitude of that dude is what cracked me up.

These guys could do with some track time the guy in front is not fluid with the bike not shifting weight with the bike. Some track days with an instructor would really help. He did not read the camber of the road a common error his lack of experience shows in the choice of clothing and riding style it had to happen sooner or later, We all have to start somewhere I can remember pushing a wrecked bike home myself many years ago

I don't make video's - I don't need to show off, but nobody keeps up wtth me when I press on either. I don't use too much speed for my view so I keep going smoothly and it doesn't really feel so quick.

@danmu Having been there... I would have guessed the speed was a little over 30 but definitely within the norm that people drive on the road there. Heck, that road is flat out scary at 25mph at dusk. Those turns are unbelievably sharp.

The "funny" part is the couple nearby who was more concerned about voicing their opinion about his riding habits than finding out if he was alright. Make sure he still has all his body parts first, then chastise him later.
I've got a fun route picked out that I normally run alone. I'd hate to think someone would rather yell at me than find out if I'm still alive should something happen.

@fredstah714 Did you notice the high number of black tired marks in the road at that exact spot? That exact curve has taken alot of bikes due a weird dip in the road. Sure, the guy who wrecked isn't a perfect rider, but he is pretty damned good most of the time. Besides, it's never *if* you'll gone down, it's when. Everyone eventually trashes their bike -- but not everyone gets it on video for armchair experts to analyze to death.

I couldnt see where he was looking but it looked like taget fixation. He needs to work on riding skill before he tries to go hard, and talk to someone that can help him out.

@fredstah714 not everyone begins with your immediate level of high experience. Some people make mistakes, learn, and do better next time. We will all go down one or more times, let's just hope the bruises are small and are egos become wise. That road takes many, many bikes (google Deals Gap for info). To improve skill, it's almost always necessary to ride slightly above your limit (i.e., push yourself)....and sometimes shit happens. Nothing wrong with that.
