  • Essentially, its a shaped tube that ignites Hydrogen via pressure.

    Tad more complex, but thats it essentially.

  • u kno this is the ideal weapon for nuke warfare, nuke them before they can react. nice idea for small payloads but by the time it becomes useful it will have been over taken by something elce.

  • I am enrolled for the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering course at UQ. I hope I get to work on some of these scramjets! I might even do PhD on this kind of thing; I love it!

  • Educated and intelligent Americans tend to make a different claim. We take inventions from all over the world and refine them, then we put them into service and let everyone who doesn't know better think that we invented it in the first place. On a different note, anyone know whether the inner workings of scramjet technology is still classified?
