I can't remember the name of that paper line it was a while ago and I only picked up the two sheets of paper at my LSS.

I would be happy to do a tutorial on the bead and wire, I use that quite a bit in my minis.

Was not a big fan of the copper stuff UNTIL I SAW THIS VID!! Love it with the green (also my favorite color) I guess it compliments it well because of how true copper turns verdigris when aged! Thanks for a great video :D

Hello Garden Girl. I think what I like about the copper embossing powders is that they are metallic but still subtle. I feel gold can be too harsh sometimes and since I love to work with green and pink, which are both sub colors to copper, (In my opinion) it seems to compliment well. Thank you so much. I recently bought some of the shimmer paints and added that to some alcohol it works really well apart from bits of shimmer paint all over the inside of the bottle. Not sure if thats normal. I have some alcohol left over so Im going to try your idea. Will the sprayers still clog if I use the water method or do they clog using both. Thank you again. Your a doll.

Shake the bottles really well before using and that should get a lot of the mica from sticking to the inside of the bottle. Maybe a shaker bead will help as well. The mica tends to be the clogging agent not the liquid medium so what I try to do, when I'm done using the bottle is turn it upside down and spray to clear everything out of the nozzle. That works fairly well.....if you remember to do it each time, I tend to forget LOL!

Hi I hope you can help me. Im trying to find out how to make the spray bottle of pearl ex powders. I really cant remember how to make them or what to use so Im hoping you will know. Fingers crossed

Hey Shonz, in this video I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. You can make your own by putting your Perfect Pearls or Pearl-ex powder in a fine spray bottle and mix with water. If you want to add color, you can add a few drops of Tim Holtz Re-inkers to get the desired effect.

You could also use Alcohol ink but you must use "Alcohol" as your liquid base not water since the "Alcohol" inks are "Alcohol" based. I saw Kathryn at Life on the {Scrap} Beach use this method last night. The sprayers tend to get clogged all the time....it's normal. I hope that helps :-)

Unfortunatly we dont have either of those stores over here in New Zealand, I hear of them so much on youtube and Im rather jelly we cant get the deals you do over there. You inspired me some time ago to buy some copper embossing powder, and I should have asked you what manufacturer you used... mine is OK, but a bit of a struggle to use. Do you have preferred brand? Also, I LUV the Olive Glimmer Mist... don't have many, but I am so loving this green one!

Joyce, you are so sweet!!! It's so funny, I never looked at the embossing powder I use..... i just thought I picked up a common brand. But there is no real Company name on this one. It just says "Ultra Detail"  (Mark Enterprises). I can tell you that I am 99.9% sure that I picked it up at Micheals or JoAnns. The item # DP-104. I hope that helps.

I don't have but 4 Glimmer mists myself but I agree my faves are the "Gold" and the "Olive Vine"
