Since version 0.9, Aircrack-NG includes the PTW attack, making it as faster as Aircrack-PTW(the version showed in this video is the 0.8, which requiers more packets and time to crack)

Aw dude, if you had a 5 second look into the documentation of aircrack-ng you would realize that you made two mistakes:

1. Windows

2. USB device

First get a proper operating system and then go buy a proper WiFi card! I use Ubuntu and a Netgear WG511T (Atheros chipset) but most Atheros devices will work too. The WG511T is fully supported by aircrack-ng so I can use all features. And I did not need to install any drivers because Atheros drivers are pre-installed in Ubuntu.

The PTW attack is substantially faster and requires far less IVs. The only thing is that it also requires capturing the entire packet instead of just the IVs. When you run airodump-ng, omit the --ivs or -i switch. Instead of an .iv file, it will save the capture as a .cap file. Pass that file to Aircrack with the -z switch (for PTW) and the other required switches with their relevant data and it will work.

Yeah, I read that the same day but thanks. You know before you have enough packets for a ptw you can do a dictionary attack with only 4 iv's. Also you can start the PTW attack with a lot less than ~40k, i have found keys with as few as 12k.

This is all old stuff, aircrack now defaults to ptw attack and goes through various key sizes before it rests and waits for more iv's. Yes, just start aircracking when you start collecting iv's. It'll wait for the next 5000 and redo it's cracking.
