@arkhamisland I'll give it a shot. One of the great things about roleplaying this way, is that not only can you sit at the table with your current friends, but you can make new ones rather easily. Believe it or not, there's not a lot of difference between what you would type online and sitting at the table, playing live. And, the best part is, you don't have to make up a voice if you choose not to. Most of my players generally don't, and we still have a great time. Email me if you want.

@arkhamisland It's really up to you. The game suggests a group with 1 DM and 4-5 players. My group is 3 married couples, and 2 other friends, with one of us running a game (We switch games/worlds/genres from time to time). They used to make products for 1 DM and 1 player as well. To my mind, it's best if you play with a DM and 4-6, so that you have more than one point of view, and style of play. Some people do want to act, some just want that thrill of "killing" something.

@tnus3 He has a DM guidebook that outlines whats supposed to happen, but all DMs usually tweak the story a little, adding dialouge or maybe a hidden item like a potion, a jem or food. Some DMs even make up the whole story from scratch, but not this guy, I have the book he's reading from. :3
