@cycrosism the disks have a lower fail rate if you burn it at 2.4 but its up to u

oh and for the comments up there that might be from burning at the fastest speed or AWS (auto write speed) so try 2.4 and see if it corrects the problem

@cycrosism ok then it might be a error with the iso file or the .dvd file or the stealth patch its self did you rip the iso or torrent? and did it pass every check on abgx360 and did you click the .dvd file when burning with imgburn... and you r using imgburn right? then if all that checks out then it might be your drives firmware in witch case you will have to re flash the drive. but try playing a different game and seeing if it wrks then you no its the game not the drive

@nick93us I ripped it + did a level 2 check using abgx360. Yes, I clicked the .dvd file using imgburn. I just ripped red dead redemption and gta4 and neither of those work, I just get the open tray message.

if so then you are going to have to restor the drive to the stock firmware and re flash with the latest ixtreme firmware

and if u didnt flash it then thats your problem you have to flash the drive to enable it to play backups of games

@nick93us Yes I payed someone to install a new dvd drive into my 360 which is capable of playing burnt games, he even showed me at the place when it was done, he put a burnt game in and it worked. The thing is it works sometimes and doesn't work all the time so I do not know what exactly is the problem

@cycrosism ok well how long ago did this happen because new games come out that arnt supported with old versions of the hacked firmware that allows the drive to play the burnt games so that is most likely your problem try playing an old game like halo 3 or gears 2 and if its still happening then you are going to have to take the xbx back to the guy and have him re-flash it anyway with the latest firmware

nope that's it all you have to do is stealth patch and flash the 360 but be careful because the system updates can ban you so its up to you if you want to flash it b/c if you don'[t want to get banned then every time a system update comes out you have to restore the drive then download the update then flash it again so its a pain but u have to decide if its worth not paying $60 every time a game gets scratched or when u want to get a game
