  • legs outboard!

  • i do parkour that looks so easy

  • Its harder then it looks, stop saying you could do this so easy when you most likly could not.

  • i do parkour and I'd fly throught that thing :/ can't wait to give it a go :D

  • @mstliklybord17 I wouldn't be too sure unless you are used to doing parkour in Combat Utilities. Believe it or not, it is challenging.

  • I want to be a marine when im older, was this course easy for you guys?

  • @Fuze107 easy? There isn't anything easy about becoming a Marine, thats why there are The Few. The Proud. Because they earned it.

  • @rileystorey I didnt mean easy i need to rephrase it, of course its not easy. I meant after you did the course did it get easy? Like after your first couple tries you got the hang of it? I imagine they made you run the course more then once

  • @Fuze107 I imagine it would still be just as hard, but you would start to know the course better after a few times.

  • @rileystorey Are you a marine?

  • @Fuze107 Not yet. My dad is.

  • @rileystorey Oh damn thats awesome carrying out something your dad did, if I have a son I hope he does the same. Is he prepping you for it?

  • @Fuze107 all the time, lots of running, push ups, sit ups, and did i say running? He is no longer in the Marine Corps because they had him move alot and my mom didn't like the idea of having kids and making them move alot. So now he is in the USAF as a MSgt. He is in Afghanistan right now.

  • @rileystorey Wow thats awesome man, my prayers are with him and his comrades. How much do you do daily and how old are you so I know what I can do to get more prepared?

  • @Fuze107 Im actually only 14, I run everyday till I just about drop, I do lots of push ups, lots of sit ups and lots of pull ups. I am want to be a full time police officer and part of the Marines Reserve so I am applying for something called the police explorers, they basically do ALOT of PT, and I do my best in all of my classes so I can be ready to go in as an Marine Officer.

  • @rileystorey How many and how much do you suggest I do daily? i'll be 16 by the time I can do anything again. IS your a dad a Police Officer too?

  • @Fuze107 No, but a guy in Afghanistan with him is, and I have had an interest in it my entire life.

  • @Fuze107 oh and try to do 50 push ups in under 2 minutes and then take away time till it starts to get hard. 75 push up in 2 minutes and keep taking away time from that too untill it gets almost impossible, and try to run 5 miles a day 2 times a week. God Bless you man!

  • @rileystorey Ok thanks alot man, I cant tell you how much being a Marine is important to me, bless you too:)

  • you call that a course you Americans need to learn something have a look at are British royal marine then build a new one.

  • @mrcellish Haha, silly Brits. Bragging about their shit is the toughest of all. :)

Check out the US Navy SEAL Coronado O-Course, then try to build a better one yourselves.

  • @Tord176 seriously... does he actually think that they are gonna show their best stuff on youtube.... funny!

  • nice little cute fuzzy adorable girly obstacle cours you've got there.....not like the foreign legion 20 obstacle ''parcours du combattant.in less than 5 minutes.

  • @Choice777 Are your talking about the weak nato o-course? Please, get on our level. Do this twice, back to back under 3mins or do this then the 5mile endurance course under 60min.

  • @adamfranklin1126 i dont know what this nato o- course is.i'm talkig about the french foreign legion course ''parcours de combattant''. watch?v=IFweTBAHIbE

  • @Choice777 I take it back. This is the nato o-course

    watch?v=QrxpH6_viMU

The link you sent me was similar to the nato course, but the course was harder toward the end. It made me think of jumping in and our of trenches.

  • these guys make it look so easy but for an average person, it's much harder than it looks

  • I have this for PT in the morning and I haven't done it since MCT almost a year and a half ago. Fuck.

  • the guy running beside the men doing the obstacle course has a hard time keeping up with them lol

  • you screw up you have to restart until you do it perfect right ?

  • Good run boys! I know my lazy ass can't do that.

  • How long do they have to complete this? Two minutes?

  • @Runaholism 2 min is minimal time to pass. 1 min is max score. Always shoot for max!

  • I got a lot of respect for you marines doing this

  • Actually no, lol..you do run it, thats why you have to do it fast in a certain amount of time.

  • holy shit his good!

  • That looks fun

  • 1:06 HORRAH!!!

  • I would do this with no hands

  • @stfaulk89 try with no legs

  • i thought marines are meant to be hard, this looks simple. pussy shit.

  • @Brownieversion1 yeah cause this is all you have to do to be a marine huh?

  • rotc is gay.

  • @CAallday209 cool story?, ur just jealous of officers

  • @69littleboys haha. im sooo jealous they get to walk around thier campuses like a bunch of wannabe tough guys, while the veteran students at said campus are 99% likely to be disgusted by them. there are plenty of ways to become an officer without being a homo rotc girl scout.

  • @CAallday209 well then you obviously fail to realize that you dont have to go through warrant officer ranks if you did rotc, and who are you calling rotc homo girl scouts? if any marine saw that comment bad things would be happenin.

  • @MilitaryChannel500 bahaha. i served four years in the Marines. and me and fellow Marines would talk volumes of shit about the faggety rotc girl scouts that decided to come to camp lejeune. warrant officer ranks? if you wanna be a warrant officer in the USMC you gotta do eight years as enlisted before you can apply for the warrant officer basic course and be commisioned. otherwise to be a regular officer you just have to have a degree. no need to be a homo in school and join rotc.

  • @n1kingopopfan snipers, I did this a lot and I was a radio operator

  • Every Marine does it. Supposedly based on the bstacles encountered during the Tarawa invasion...True or not it is a great fitness prep when timed.

At Marine OCS in the 70's the final event was timed, to run the O course twice without stopping, then without stopping pick up your rifle and go for a cross country run through an assault course that finished with the quigley special. You failed if you took more than 50 minutes to finish everything

  • dont let zis guy beat you zis useless guy

  • damn he was fast! i only finished it in 1:04!! he was way under 1 minute wow

  • @n1kingopopfan every marine does it in boot and after... idk where you heard about it only being snipers

  • Does every marine do this in boot camp

  • Who filming? Jihad himself?

  • What kind of workouts are good to be able to perform this course?

  • @Jagguar20 Pull ups help a lot, some anaerobic running. And practice the first obstacle on a pull up bar, if you can get that its a good head start on the average beginner.

  • @MesserTAMU Thanks a lot mate!

  • god there fit

  • Any coarse like this is hard to do. And I do parkour.

  • @WeaponSamurai I started last year and this is easy. Except with something heavy or long.

  • My Marine Corps JROTC program has the same obstacle course behind our building.

  • that was awesome.

  • they make it look easy but its harder than u think

  • parkour people would shit on that...

  • @xXChingon2480Xx With guns and ammo strapped to their back... I don't think so these guys however can

  • Comment removed

  • @xXChingon2480Xx I agree but would they shit in Iraq while holding their M4 Carbines, i think not.

  • some of that looks kinda easy

  • i love obstacle courses like these im really good at acrobatics

also YOU CLIMB UP LIKE OLD PEOPLE FUCK, YOU KNOW THAT, PRIVATE PYLE?

  • It would be awesome if you could be trained by these guys without having to join up..lol.

  • now compair this to the Navy SEALs o course...

  • the guy who lost even took a head start and he still lost

  • the cameraman has a badass accent, german?

  • Get your fat ass over that obstacle private pyle!

  • wow this guys are pretty slow, compared to Traceurs that do obstacle courses.

  • @JeRuJoHn1994 have the traceurs run in boots and utes and then we'll see how quick they are

  • which coarse is this?

  • @Cosmicboy37 How's that ironic? A lot of Marines are immigrants.

  • @Leehofooks really?? w.o.w i wonder y...

  • damn that guy raped the course haha.....and why does the camera man sound foreign?

  • anyone know how many meters that last rope is?

  • i wonder why i never see any civilians talking shit to me when they see me face to face.....instead they hide behind their computers in the safety of their moms basement and run their cock suckers.

  • geez that guy closest to the camera just blew through that course. he makes it look so fucking easy its ridiculous. you really need to try the ocourse in person to appreciate its difficulty.

  • looks funnn

  • this course looks pretty good

  • dam my time is so bad its 1.55 with the whole course

  • I could do everything but the ropes at the end, I have NO grip whatsoever.

  • man this looks fun!

  • I want one of these in my back yard.

  • how thick are the ropes?

  • what base is this? cool vid btw

  • hahah camera man was a out of breath he should spend more time on the course

  • The marines have the same O-course at Bangor (generic design?). I tried doing it fully tacked up with my M16 strapped to my back. Pain in the ass.

  • @fitbike89 Our Jrotc unit did the one at Bangor it was fun except for the rope that was pretty hard haha

  • i had the privilege of running the obstacle course at Camp Lejeune. Was difficult for me since I was in high school. The way they get over the bar at the beginning is a little more difficult to learn but way easier than trying to throw yourself over. I remember the easiest part for me was the double bars you gotta kinda throw your legs on and climb down. Hardest was jumping from the balance beams to that raised log. The rope wasn't too bad. Hope I get a chance to challenge myself again soon!

  • how do u do that.. i want to!

  • Join a Marine Corps JROTC or join the Marine Corps, or find someone to get you on base lol.

  • ROTC or JROTC, but its an 8 year service commitment.

  • i really cant imagine somebody outrunning one of these guys... ANYWHERE.

...except for Bolt on a baseball field.

  • traceur

    ex. David Belle

  • true

  • u need to work on ur imagination then :|

im gonna say......... navy seals? and osama thats being chased by the navy seals?

  • lol it can still be tough to outrun. Depends on the person though...

  • pvt gomer pyle of the full metal jacket!! :D

  • where is this

  • that one is tiny and weak, the one in pensacola is actually big and tough

  • that aint how you go over the double bars right before the ropes. sorry.

  • Why in the fuck would you go through an obstacle course without your warfighting gear?

  • Listen here, MrDirtyTactics

    1) Hahahaha

    2) That IS their warfighting gear, Marine BDU's, the reason they deblouse (the reason you're seeing green shirts) is for easier manueverability through the obstacle course.

Why the fuck would you NOT take off your warfighting gear if you knew you'd be going through an "obstacle course" overseas?

  • Yeah.... that's just fucking stupid.... so your telling me... that in a combat situation.... you'd go through an obstacle without ur webbing and loaded rifle?

  • 1) Go to school.

    2) I don't care how many times you put the word 'fucking' in your responses, you don't sound any meaner.

    3) IF I was in a combat situation, I'd be in a cockpit, so no.

What use is "combat gear" when you're occupied with an obstacle? It's not like you can stand on one of these metal poles and fire your weapon. Or, in the middle of hopping a wall, you take fire, so you return fire? NO The gear comes off so you can manuever more easily. Body armor? Obviously not, but

  • your weapon and overnight gear, yes.

  • So if you're in the middle of going through a battlefield obstacle..... you wouldn't go through it with webbing and rifle? Is that what ur telling me? So if someone were say... to SHOOT at you while ur negotiating that obstacle... you'd have nothing in ur hands that looks smackingly like a gun/rifle? So in effect u wouldn't be able to protect urself?.....

  • First off you should be going thru the obs course as a fire team.... and have the fast guys plant themselves ahead of the obstacle and provide cover.... Second why would yo go through clean skinned? You'll just have to go through with body armour and kit come the real thing anyway.... and when that happens... you'll suck REAL bad and get shot up to shit coz you never did in training, thus causing u to go slower when you get weighed down. Fucking idiots.

  • If you're so dedicated about the regulations, then you call Marine Corps in Arlington Virginia, and do something about it. Not argue about it on YouTube, wasting my time and yours.

  • You wouldnt be running an obstcle like this in Combat anyways, stupid shit!, Its for total body strength training! Your obvioulsy mad becasue you know you wouldnt be able to do this to become a us marines.. Fuck boy..

  • How old are you? 10? Noone gives a horses arse about muscular strength in combat! Muscular endurance is what counts. And if you really wanted to test "total body strength", why not do the obs course with all ur gear on? Going thru clean skinned is some pussified shit. Go play with ur clitoris mate.

  • Actually fukboy Im 22 an Im n the Marines I dnt hav a clitoris but ur mother does an Im pretty sure its not hard 2 get a chance 2 play wit hers Dnt get mad tho tht u wudnt b able 2 mak it over the 1st obstacle Thts jus 1 obstacle course 4 the Marines Theres plenty more tht ur not bein shwn Lik the Confidence course or the "Combat Endurance Course" u go n with gear onwit full gear Get sum nuts an stop suckin on ur mamas clitoris thn u cud actually do sum real shit lik this 1 day Fuck Boy..

  • For a 22 yo your acting like a fukin' baby. Pop the dummy back in your mouth and get back in your fukin' pram will yah. In the words of my old platoon sergeant...." You should be shunted back into your mother's c unt and fuked out of exsistence."

  • lolz

  • @1020checkmate I think it's more so you can be in good physical condition.

  • @1020checkmate just saying that is pretty easy.

  • @MrDirtyTactics They were most likely just running it for time, which, when it comes down to it has no purpose other than to compete with someone else's time. Of course you'd put your gear on when you're actually training for combat, for example during a combat endurance course.

  • Out mother fucking standing!!

I want to become a marine later on.

I can't even do chin ups, I am currently gettin' my self ready.

I am way to heavy for their shit right now. 195 Pounds and 15 years old, still got a long way to go

  • welcome to my world bro...15 yrs old here too im 70 kg and like 1,75-77 metters thats 177 centimeters...i can do like 40 pushups or so...damn...

  • Yep...Well as they said, people aren't born Marines, they're made.

So I try not to sweat it, Its all in the mind for me.

  • thats pretty good im 15 126 and can do 81 pushups on a good day 24 chin ups i just need to get past basic because i want to join the airforce

  • i'm 5'11 and I weighed 200 when I went to boot camp. When I graduated I was 145!!! I graduated in jan 2001. Hope you like running. You don't wanna go there as a diet recruit that will suck!

  • Trust me I can go, but like they said Marines are made. I will try my ass off no matter what. Its a privlege.

  • if you want to be successfull in bootcamp you wanna be able to do 20 pull-ups 200 pushups and 3 miles a day in under 21:00

  • Damn! Well I got 10 Pull-ups down, push ups I'm workin' on, and the mile....shit I need to start now

  • How old are you, and when are you joining?

  • the pull ups i have down ....i am off by a hundred and 20 on the pushups the 3 miles might be a toughie

  • i wouldnt join the USMC unless i was doing the bare minimum of 100 pushups in slow perfect form 10 perfect pull ups and running 3 miles 3x a week under24:00 dont let the recruiter tell you otherwise its all about physical fitness down there if your physically fit the mental and emotional stresses wont be as bad good luck!

  • yeah right. its just boot camp.ive known some fatties make through bootcamp.of course they were skinny when it was done with.

Minimum Fitness Requirments for Each PFT Event - Males

    Age Pull-Ups Crunches 3-Mile Run

    17-26 3 50 28:00

    27-39 3 45 29:00

    40-45 3 45 30:00

    46+ 3 40 33:00

  • Do the same rules apply for females?

  • you think thats something to complain about?? im going to either Join the stealth corps or infantry/Assasination squads in 14 im 1M 65 CM tall 84KG T_T

  • dont worry about it you will get there and if not you will lose 5 pounds on taking your first step into the marine hq then 5 pounds everysingle time a di screams at you so you should be good

  • Slow and sloppy :-P

  • These Marines are good to go, the Marine on the right was very fast. I thought the tar bar obstacle (the one where you jump on the log and then jump to the double bars) was handled very well. There's some guys in my company that can do it in 48 seconds, but this was very well done, good to go Marines.

  • run dude run. ill have to be doin that soon.

  • Damn dude on the right lane destroyed that shit. It was like 55-58 seconds which is outstanding.

  • can u go somewhere to find these? (i mean other than actually the marine core)

  • was this obstacle course at boot camp or where were these marines doing this obstacle course at?

  • These guys are Marine officers at The Basic School in Quantico Virginia which is where newly commissioned Marine 2ndLts learn how to be rifle platoon commanders. This O Course is at Camp Barrett in Quantico, Va.

  • its the standard o course. you also run it in boot and ITB

  • I know that.

  • Loool :p

  • you are a kid how you say that, if don't know nothing about this

  • I do pk

  • the fat ass fucking camera man had a hard time catching up lol

  • out fucking-standing

  • That was a fun course, and when you finish first, it's courtesy cheer on your fellow marine!

The hardest part though is that first bar- It's a lot taller than it looks!

  • lmao i love the guy shouting. "1ST PLATOOON!"

  • First is the worst

  • I'm in Alpha Company 1st Platoon 2nd Squad and our squad was the first out of any squad in either platoon to get promoted

  • that's what's good then! I just heard from my SSgt and a few Marines that (traditionally) first is the worst.. second is the best at close order drill.. and third has the highest PT scores.. Im shipping out the 16th of this month and will be 3rd

  • I'm hoping not to ship out yet because I'm working on becoming a sniper and that takes so much more training. I thought it'd be easy but I have to wear these super clear contacts that hurt like hell and these binoculars attached to my goggles so I can zoom in and out on a target and so far my score at the range is 2 shots below the 85% mark which is pretty good they told me.

  • So have you been to Boot camp already then?

  • Nope not yet. I went to training camp last summer and we tried it but I go to boot camp this summer

  • nigga you gay.

  • What?

  • you'll get a pizza box.

  • What're you talking about?

  • lol, I'm just busting your balls. Have you DEPed in yet? What's your ship date?

  • Yeah I already finished DEP like a month ago. They said they'd tell me my ship date during Basic Training because they were over-worked or something.

  • What? DEP isnt 'finished' until you go to boot camp... When do you go to Boot Camp?

  • Well, I'm going through the enlistment process again, because I'm not so sure, that's why I'm not reporting immediately. They said, however, if I don't enlist elsewhere, then I'll report for boot camp this summer.

  • So you were in DEP for over a year? What'd you get on your ASVAB?

  • You can't be in it for more than one year though, so no.

    On my AFQT I got a 72

  • fucking crazy!

  • gotta love the college boy roll

  • I have a friend who could do the obstacle course the average time a DI should do.
