@magicpipes its a United Motors. i have one identical too it but black. bought it from the dealer brand new with the UM decals on it. United Motors builds and resells them under their own name. same identical bike as hyosung though, even has Hyo decals on alot of things still

@laypoole123 Its the same as the Hyosung GT250R, i have a second one now. I love the bikes.. do some research. Hyosung riders all love their bikes, the ninja riders swear by theirs. they are very similar and competitive.. Honda came out with a CBR 250 as well. I put 3000 miles on these bikes without any problems at all. i love them and they are worth the money. insurance is only $80 a year and i got $68 back for adding a plan to my existing insurance account through progressive

Nice decals! More than likely your speedometer cluster will malfunction,than charging system.You Need to remove sidecover and locktite all stator and flywheel bolt's.Trust me.I've worked @ a dealer who sold these ,as a mechanic.seen alot fall apart,and it is bad.

I might be getting a GT250R later this year. I'm actually torn between this and a Ninja 250R. They're both great bikes from what I've heard.

The thing is, I've read in a couple of places that the GT250R isn't built very well. I read that it starts falling apart after a year or so of riding and parts are hard to come by. Is this true?

the hyosung 250 looks way better than the ninja 250, but hyosungs aren't well known so you take a gamble in reselling it, finding parts and it's hard to tell if they're reliable. either way 250's are great starter bikes

Just my .02 but I think the little bike looks tight. I do ride a Yamaha FZ1, but it's a lot of bike for a 5 mile commute to work. I'd have more fun on the 250 just because I'd be able to go through the gears. Sweet bike man.

nope. its a 250, i can see the air cooling fins on the engine at 0:14-0:16. plus the tire tips off that its a 250 as well. AND look at the size of the clutch cover.

It 's the same bike. UM (United Motors) is a distribotor for Hyosung, why it's sold as a UM I don't know, but it's tha exact same bike as the Hyosung

yea go with the 650, i bought the 250 because it was in my price range for the time and being my first bike it seemed perfect, i never dropped it and had zero problems with it, i didnt own it for long and just customized it and sold it for a small profit

i highly recommend these biikes, i might get a 650 down the road
