  • alex is the best

  • What is this song referencing? His trapping in the Pandorica?

  • @Zakerandsaisu I'm pretty sure it's his fear leading up to his regeneration in The End Of Time.

  • @DALEK86 I thought it was about the nightmares of the master that wilfred got about the master during the end of time, that and the ood.

  • @DarkKwazar Some of the lines remind me of the End of Time, but the "all my darkest dreams are gathering" makes me think of the armada against him in The Pandorica Opens, and the lines "Trickster, feared, far from revered" makes me think about both that and also Demon's Run.

  • Are there songs from the end of series 6 as well? x

  • I bought both Albums they are great

  • This is now my favorite song and while I like Ed's voice the best Liam does a great job with this song.

  • The lead singer has a hot voice

  • @piszczapati There is no lead singer. There are several people who sing in Chameleon Circuit. Liam Dryden is singing this particular song, so yeah he has a hot voice :3

  • @ALLAMAIAM I think he/she meant the lead singer of the song. :)

  • beautiful voices...great work! All your songs are truly awesome :-)

  • @diamondseredydalson that's not Vale Decem it's the Doctor's Theme

    see: watch?v=khUS545w8cM

  • I love liams voice the best!!

  • I like Ed's voice the best, but I also think that Liam is so underrated!

  • This song is just so awesome. I love it. Liam did a really good job on this.

  • Can someone please send me a copy of this song and regenerate me? I bought the cd, but it won't let me download these

  • I found "Vale Decem" at 2:03

    Brilliant !

  • Supporting vocals were apparently by Brian Cox O_O

  • It's the song from The Runaway Bride, the one they played near the end, it was played near the end of the Runaway Bride.............

  • The Sound of Drums was my favorite at first..

    But hell.

I like this one a lot.

  • is there a song about river? if not could u make one?

  • @197eleanor There is one by another singer called stopitsgingertime

  • @197eleanor Its called "The River Song" - brilliant title, that :D

  • what music is it at 2:02? its different to rose's theme but it sounds similiar...

  • @PhoenixFyre97 I think it is, but played on a single piano or keyboard

  • @PhoenixFyre97 It's the Doctor's Theme on piano :) I think. Or, sometimes called the Bad Wolf theme.

  • I love this song, how it's Wilf talking to the Doctor at the beginning and then the Doctor talking to himself. All the lyrics are well-thought and beautiful. Love this!

  • @narwhal17 Yes this is a month late, but I would like to point out that it's the Ood talking to him in the beginning.

  • ... I now wanna make a doctor who naruto crossover The Oncoming Storm meets The Spiraling Maelstrom.

  • Just listening to this song makes you feel awesome

  • omg Liam's voice!!!

  • Is that the doomsday theme in the background?

  • is this album on itunes by any chance?

  • @unicornhorn13 awesome

  • i love how piano and guitar sound so perfect together.. in some other songs it would be a disaster but it is amazing in this one :)

  • this song... creeps me out... and makes me wanna cry... and... I don't know. Goodness.

  • I like Liam's voice the best. This is probably my favourtie song from this album.

  • @homefreylf That must be what I like about it, I always thought this one sounded best. :]

  • Best Thing Ever:

When your heart starts beating to the beat of the heart at the beginning. ♥

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 not necessarily.. its only one heart, not two. and the only reason why i posted that was because my heart synced to it.. but that would be awesome if i was a timelord! xD

  • Most days I go around school with messy hair, tired eyes, and lyrics to Chameleon Circuit songs stuck in my head and scribbled on my hands. It makes the abundance of fakes and brats at my school so much more bearable!!! :D

  • I love Chameleon Circuit! This is my first time listening to this song though. Where can I buy the albums?

  • @treyegirl itunes I believe

  • @treyegirl amazon works its only 9 $ there

  • awesome better than all the on rubbish in the chart

  • Comment removed

  • This is Liam? it sounds like Alex... but still Liam needs to sing more

  • ARGH!!! I want this album!!!

  • @whitewashedlife ME TOO!!!!

  • @whitewashedlife I got it today ;)

  • Well i think 2 things 1 you gotta love liam for singing this and 2 i think david tennant was a brilliant actor and was a very remorseful doctor. He kept travelling because he always saves the world and if he didnt travel, if he belonged, then who would save earth in his place??

  • I'm curious about something. If this is supposed to be about the Doctor and his fears, and you hear a heart beat going, why is there only one?

  • anywho...

This is probably my favorite song on the new album after "the doctor is dying." I think it could definitely tie in with "Amy's Choice," but it really just applies to the Doctor in general. In his own words, "I'm so old, and so tired." He's been living with so much guilt for so long-destroying Gallifrey, ruining companions' lives,etc.-and you can really see in the more recent incarnations that he's beginning to crack under the weight of his own conscience. It's quite sad, really. :(

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 that's a very good point! But the thing with him "getting a job," settling down, etc...he doesn't really have a place on earth, try as he might to fit in. He doesn't belong here, and he most certainly doesn't belong on Gallifrey (not to mention that he *destroyed* it)...he doesn't really belong anywhere. I think maybe that's why he keeps traveling and picking up random people and ruining their lives...he doesn't know how to do anything else anymore.

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 Yeah, I HATE IT when he commits genocide because the Master was so EVIL, one of the most evil, yet he was a 'time lord' so the according to the Doctor, it was 'okay' but the Slitheen and Sontarans are less evil. They're evil but LESS evil and he killed every single one.

But I always think that the companions deserve what they get though. After their first dangerous encounter with him, they should leave while the going is good. Look at Martha, she knew when to go

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 Why not?

I would travel with him too. I mean, it's better than this boring life.

Everyday the same. I know i couldn't stay with him forever, but after my traveling time with him i can go back to my normal life and have something exciting to remember

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 and why is the doctor a genocidal murderer?

  • @violetlady100 well lets see how many species he has killed or tried to kill. yes it was in defense of the earth or other planets but he and his companions have slaughtered a lot of different races. so objectively(from the non human perspective) its hard to call him a good guy but from how its shown and that he is usually saving humans it looks like he is.

  • @playfulkitty828

Genocide is talking about the Daleks, not Slitheen. I'm pretty sure it's Journy's End, but in one of them, he thinks he kills all the Daleks.

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 I forgot about those.. But, he doesn't kill them, remember? The cracks eat their planet, but he resets the universe, meaning the cracks never existed.

And, I've been following it since the reboot in 2005, I love it.

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 Not quite sure that's murder, you may recall that they were going to destroy the Earth and kill all of humanity. Not sure who the Saturniyne maybe if you told me which episode they're in.

And yes, I think The Doctor would be the first to admit that he does bad things. But I think that he always does them for the greater good and only when he sees no better option. And they always wheigh on his conscience. Also, and I don't mean to be hostile, why are you here?

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 Oh that's good, I do prefer to avoid hostility.

Ah, yes the Calvierri. I'd say he does commit genocide there, though he doesn't murder (or even kill) anyone. I think where you and I disagree is in our respective definitions of murder. Still though, "the ethics of Doctor Who" does seem like a good philisophical discussion.

As far as the show's making you depressed: Yeah, I can see that. Alot of death and sadness in that show.

  • @playfulkitty828 In "The Runaway Bride," the Racnoss are a race that are "born starving," and "devour whole worlds" it seemed to me that his killing the Empress' children was in more an effort to stop them rather than punish her, and that's after he offered to bring them to a planet where they could exist peacefully.

Also, the Greek God comparison brings up an interesting aspect of The Doctor's character. The Doctor is at his most dangerous and is coldest when he doesn't have as companion...

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 "[But] all the companions end up with their lives ruined, and the Doc ends up either with guilt or a broken heart." Yup, and that's part of the tragic brilliance of the show, and something I'm happy to see Moffat bringing to light in the recent series (although tecnically, Amy's life, it could be argued, ended up better due to The Doctor's appearence. Actually, it seems like all of The Doctor's companions, at least in this progrmme, would be dead had he not shown up.).

  • Comment removed

  • @playfulkitty828 No worries, personal taste is almost always amoral and never chosen. I still love you.

  • @MrSilvUr :D XD

  • @MrSilvUr That's nice to say :D

  • @playfulkitty828 That's good; I do prefer to be nice. I never really saw the point in being mean. ;-)

  • @MrSilvUr well Martha got a husband and a very cool ending. Donnas ending was just depressing, but since she dosn't remember the doctor, its virtually unchanged, Im still watching the 5 series, so I don't know about Amy. Rose got what she wanted, sort of...(and a chance to bring David Tennant back on the show)

  • @playfulkitty828 ...A clear case of his is in the example you cited, "The Runaway Bride," and it's complementary episode, "Turn Left." In the Bride, The Doctor's nearly killed when he gets to caught up in killing the Racnoss, it takes the presence of a human companion to bring him out of his wrathful state The companionless alternative is seen in "Turn Left," in which he ends up drowning to death. This is a pattern seen through out, e.g. "The Time Lord Victorious" in "The Waters of Mars"...

  • @playfulkitty828 ... Without human companions to keep him grounded, The Doctor loses his humanity and slips into being more of a wrathful God. You wondered why The Doctor needs companions. That's basically my explanation.

  • Comment removed

  • @theamvgirlx The Doctor didn't think what the Master had done was okay. But the thing is, Time Lords are telepathic, and we can only imagine how horrifying the silence in the Doctor's head is, the giant hole that comes from the Time Lord's absence. If you were the very, very last of your kind, and suddenly someone of your kind turned up, wouldn't you want to keep them around, no matter what? And it's not like he was going to let the Master go free....

  • I love this song! I sing it outside at night and there's always someone who looks over the fence and goes "What the hell?!"

  • Pretty interesting song...

  • TERRIFIC SONG! Is this one about the Dreamlord or a totally different episode or subject?

  • Also, I agree- this man has a /gorgeous/ voice.

  • @beautifulpassion

Yeah, but he never sings- why? WHY?

  • @sarakatefisher9 THAT is the true Question that must never be asked. :p

Dear LORD, let the man sing. Please. 0.0

  • ...oh, /wow/.

  • I wish this song was neverending. Like Doctor Who.

  • Does anyone know the chords for guitar? (if one were to play this acoustically)

  • where can I buy a Chameleon Circuit CD?

  • @treyegirl dftba.com/product/xr/Still-Got-Legs-CD

  • It fits the Doctor's nightmares...not, per say, as much about fear for your life as most human nightmares are, but more in terrible sadness over those who died or won't stay with him. As they say, everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like him.

  • This song is about the Doctor in general, but holds references from Ten's seasons. And Nine's.

  • Adore this song

  • Ive had intense chills during this entire song :o I freaking love Liam's voice. He REALLY needs to sing more.

  • @tamarind456 yup.

  • Am I the only one who can't figure out who/what the hell this song is about?!

  • @tamarind456 No. I can't either.

  • @tamarind456 Nervermind, I just figured it out. It's about the end of time double episode special.

  • @latigremusic Yeah, no. Come on, people, as the Doctor himself would say- /think/. This show isn't about any one episode, for starters. Listen to the lyrics. Think about them.

  • @beautifulpassion I meant that it was about the nightmares that the people were having about the master returning. I got this from listening to the lyrics. I'm not saying that it's right, I'm just saying that I posted what I got from the lyrics.

  • @latigremusic Then you need to think a bit deeper and stop taking things at face value. There is far more to this song then that; as a matter of fact, I'm not even sure how you got that, when the song is so blatantly about the Doctor.

  • @beautifulpassion I don't take things at face value. But whatever you think is fine with me.

  • @latigremusic It sure feels that way; like you're not looking into the song but just taking it at surface ideas. All I'm saying is look a little harder at it. It becomes much more moving when you give it a closer inspection.

BTW, not many people would friend someone in the middle of a debate. Duno if you did it on purpose, but I accepted anyway; pretty cool of you.

  • @beautifulpassion Yeah. I'm just looking at what the lyrics say, and trying to see what the song is about, based off of that. I might sometimes be wrong, though.

And, yeah, I did friend you on purpose. You seem pretty interesting. Most people who say that I'm wrong say it in a way that makes THEM look stupid. But you said I'm wrong in a way where you seem really intelligent, and from the stuff on your channel, you seem pretty interesting.

  • @latigremusic Ditto you ^-^ I'll reply to the pm you sent me, and we'll continue that there, where it's a bit easier and we don't spam things up. :P

  • @beautifulpassion And I wasn't trying to imply that I wasn't moved by it, cause I think it's a really moving song. And Liam's voice fits it perfectly.

  • @latigremusic Oh, I didn't think that. You can be moved by it by seeing it your way; that's you. I just tend to see the message under the message, and in my never humble opinion, it packs more of a bang. But that's /me/.

  • @beautifulpassion Alright.:) And I'd like to thank you, because most of the people who try to argue/debate with me on youtube tend to be really annoying, because their arguments are so bad. You make your point very well, and your comments are very well structured, and overall seem a lot smarter than most people who have a different point of view/think (or know) I'm wrong that try to take me up on whatever the subject is.

  • @latigremusic Hahaha, I could say the same things for you. Mostly people are prone to slinging insults and throwing tantrums when they don't get their statement taken for Word of God, and they can't arrange an argument that's half-way intelligent, decent, or thought out.

It's really nice finding someone else who can recognize that you can have a debate or disagreement without getting huffy and taking things personally, whether it's mild or heated.

  • @beautifulpassion I forgot to add this in the previous comment, but it could also about the doctor not wanting to die/regenerate into a new doctor, which is a very big thing in the double special.

  • @latigremusic I will give you that that's a huge theme, particularly, as you said, in the special; with some of the lines I could see this being a part of it, certainly.

  • this album was so heart breaking and especially this song and traveling man and sound of drums and the docotr is dying!! snifff.... docotr/master should happen soon on the show...

  • what episode is this song referring to? or which doctor? or just a general overview of the Doctor? I know it plays the theme from 9/10, so I'm assuming it's not a song about 11... I love the song but just can't figure it out.

  • i love this song .. by the way anyone tell me who is the singers name ?? :)

  • @shadezlayer7 Liam Dryden

  • @shadezlayer7 Liam Dryden, aka David Tennant reincarnated as a young adult.

  • I have actually met this band! they are so cool! i wonder why it took me so long to download the album!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock on Charlie and co.!!!

  • OH MY GOD I ACTUALLY MISSED THE LIKE BUTTON!!!! IM SORRY I LOVE CHAMELEON CIRCUIT AND DOCTOR WHO!! DON'T HATE ME!!!

  • I think they tried to fit in a little bit of Vale Decem. Or was that me singing along?

  • OMG the doctors theme! You guys put it in there. IM SO PLEASED with this Doctor Who dedicated band.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! ITS THE BEST SONG EVER!

  • hehehehehehehheheehehehe...... *nerd spasm*

doctor who + british accents + singing= one happy girl

  • I love this song so much, and when the theme that's from the 2nd season played (the really pretty and mysterious one that used to play when Rose was going through some sad time) I got the chills it was so good. <3

  • @rockinout2themusic I'm pretty sure that was Rose's Theme. The sad piano music?

  • @13opals Nope, nevermind, its the Doctor's theme.

  • luuuuuuuurrrrrvw this song :) !!!!!!

  • if anyone can name me a non sexy member of chameleon circuit i'll give you a jammy dodger

  • @RiverPond00 Impossible.

  • can chameleon circuit write a song about the Doctor and River's relationship?

  • @TheDoctorLies why? they are crap together imo

  • @e7l13 I don't think so. Well, I'm a big supporter of 10/Rose, but I like River. A lot. The finale was lovely, and River was at her peak.

  • @e7l13 i know right?? river annoys me more than anyone ever.

  • @Nymphadora1028 finally someone who agrees with me =)

  • @e7l13 Oh, both of you little fangirls hush. Just because your ZOMH HAWTIE HAWT is married doesn't mean River is annoying; it means you are.

  • @beautifulpassion well, that's not actually why i don't like her. i suppose her character just rubs me the wrong way. kind of the same way Martha annoyed me.

  • @Nymphadora1028 Yeeeeah, way to prove me right.

  • @beautifulpassion I find it strange that you feel the need to argue with me...why are you getting so fired up over this? it's Doctor Who. Not a big deal.

  • @Nymphadora1028 You're the one that's throwing a tantrum. And continuing to prove me right.

  • @Nymphadora1028 And I broke her.

    *eyeroll.*

  • @beautifulpassion nope, i'm alright. just not interested in listening to your strange and unprecedented argument over...wait, what did you start getting mad at me about in the first place? Meh, don't care... :D Bye now!

  • @Nymphadora1028 Awww, that is so cute.

Gotta love it when they try this.

  • @beautifulpassion im not a little fangirl and i have never liked matt smith. david tennant and christopher eccleston ftw!

  • @e7l13 And again.

  • I luv chameleon circuit it's sooo fab I'm a big fan off Charlie though so I prefer yeh big bang 2 but great vid!

  • Liam is so groovy <3

  • I love that Liam sings this song, I don't think he gets to sing enough, and this song is proof that the boy can sing. It's a pretty groovy song if I do so myself.

  • This is so Doctor Who. <3 I love it. This is so going to be my ringtone.

  • Does anyone eles hear the Doctor who music around 2.14???

  • how did I not know this chameleon circuit song? so good. SO GOOD.
