Obviously they figured she-ra couldn't have the same strength as he-man since she was a woman, sexist but that was the 80's, so they gave her other abilties. I love this, was so great to see it again. The quick end was due to the fact the tv series was coming. My favorite part is the dual transformation sequence, Actually saw this in the theatre's how lame is that? ;)

I never watched this movie as a kid until now (I'm 32). this was way better than some of the other 80s 'toon movies. It had all the characters, great action, and didn't kill off main characters like Transformers the Movie did.  I've said it before, but I miss being a kid in the 80s

I owned this video as a kid and watched until the cassette became unwatchable. Altho i may not have seen it for 20 years I still seemed to know most lines by heart! Thanks so much for sharing it and bringing back some childhood memories. It's still magic when Adora becomes She-ra! And I still played back Skeletor calling King Randor a "royal boob" cos it still makes me giggle.

well, don't know if you knew, but Etheria is actually the twin planet of Eternia, there is suppose to be some history before the MOTU story relating to these two planets and yes, there is a reason for castle bright moon to relate to She-ra's head gear, do some research and you be surprised on what you find, like princes adam's adopted son, forgot name, but he turns into the next master of the universe "He-Ro" to lou schimers bible introduction, just which they continued teh cartoons to see this.

Yes I know about the history. I had the books as a child. I also know that Castle Bright moon where Queen Angela rules and the Crystal Castle where Light Hope resides are two completely different places. Castle Bright Moon looks like a Genie bottle whereas the Crystal castle looks like She-Ra's head gear.

When I first started watching part 1 i was like "this is so lame", but the longer I watched, the more I started to enjoy it and by the time I got to part 4 I realized what a good plot this was and then towards the end of the final scene I was saying "FOR THE HONOR OF GRAY SKULL"!!!
