ive always stood by the ideal that NO ONE can copy the pixies......they were so iconoclastic, so original...and then i accepted the swell season's cover...and when i heard this, it was all over...its a perfect arrangement, it carries the same blissful apathy for life and yet is complimented by their vocal ranges...distorting, and it takes you on a journey, which is what this song was composed for in the 80s...i started crying when i heard this, such a beautiful soundtrack and underrated film

Perfect example of someone taking a song and making it their own. The original is so scratchy and hard and this is so soft and sad their both beautiful in their own aesthetic.

Sorry, the key ingredient of the original song is that guitar riff. If it had been kept in there, this could've been good. But without it, it's just not the same song. A song is more than just its lyrics, and 'Where is My Mind?' is a perfect example of this.

This made me cry, I love placebo. Its a coincidence, I watched this with an ex a time in my life where I was just barely surviving life itself. Im still comming to terms with the break up, we watched it together and it makes me happy listening to this soundtrack. It gives me so much hope, he showed me where I was going wrong. Without the pain I felt I wouldnt have had the determination for Graphics at college. Although it was short, it certainly made an impact on my life forever.

The original, with Black Francis's unique singing voice, really captures the pure insanity in the question Where Is My Mind? While this version is more melodic, more haunting, much like the chilling realization you have when you realize you've finally lost it. I love both so much, they're both such amazing songs!

But the story had depth to it. It made you think about what was going on; it was so psychological. I loved it. The soundtrack was also really fitting. But my friend and I who are total dweebs for anything dragon-related flipped for the scene with the dragon hahaha.

I enjoy movies with older time lines, like the Burlesque world was probably my favorite setting. The ending was deep, but I really would have preferred Baby Doll to avenge her mother and sister. Still, she was set "free" in the end, so I guess I'll have to deal.
