Echo is better than U2, just in the shows I went to vertigo tour & really sucks, but I saw echo at corona capital in mexico and it was awsome just 1 hour and a half to prove why is the best band in the world...

Had the privlage of seeing The Bunnymen at the Glasgow Appollo (81 a think!) knew then a was watching one of the best bands that was ever to come out of the post punk movement.

I'm reliving my teen years of the early 80s and late 70s... Ian McCulan (sp) was a real hothead I heard. Mac the Mouth" is his nickname? LOL. Umm, of course he's matured a bit from what I have seen. And that's kind of cool. But he was very vocal about his dislike for Bono from U2. He hated the Jam as well (Paul Weller? or is it Peter). and umm... I hope he doesn't hate another local band from his scene... Cham UK and Cure. The old Cure, not the corporate image Cure in the later 80s.

@nikbunnymen Hmmm lets see here.First of all U2 is epic,grandiose,huge,unique and when comparing bands (wich i don't really like to do but..) U2 has more album/cd/itune sales,more fan's, world wide recognition..etc.. so how are they bigger and better?(subjective of course) on top of that how did they copy U2?? they were formed in 1976( echo and the b-men 1978.)and by the time echo and b-men put all the pieces of their band together u2 had already had their signature sound starting w/ BOY.

@hpsfl Nahh! some guy was mouthing off about how u2 stoled echo and the bunnymens sound and i was trying to make the point that u2 already had formed 2 yrs before them so how would that be possible. u2 were already playing gig's and developing before echo.,, no worries bro.

I'm reliving my teen years of the early 80s and late 70s... Ian McCulan (sp) was a real hothead I heard. Mac the Mouth" is his nickname? LOL. Umm, of course he's matured a bit from what I have seen. And that's kind of cool. But he was very vocal about his dislike for Bono from U2. He hated the Jam as well (Paul Weller? or is it Peter). and umm... I hope he doesn't hate another local band from his scene... Cham UK and Cure. The old Cure, not the corporate image Cure in the later 80s.
