Unrequited love or lust is the message conveyed in this movie. I havent seen it nor read the book, I'd like to accomplish both someday.Picuniary difficulties can hinder one's desires. Club to death goes well with the scenes.

No, he didn't! As told in the title, ths music "Clubbed to Death" is from Rob Dougan. It belongs to "Matrix" sound track.

During a workshop at CENJOR, School of Journalism (Lisbon-Portugal), we were asked to use alternative sound tracks in the clips.

Of course Mahler is perfect for "Death in Venice", this work is just a "variation", lol!

I don't think this movie is gay. I think it´s about "untouchable beauty". The music man just think Tadzo is the ideal beauty, as an angel. And the angels have no sex...
