  • @Marko767 try chess.com over 3 million players and it's quite fun to play against people around the world. hope you enjoy it :)

  • Good stuff, never thought of watching a chess commentary. Been playing since i was 7(14 years) and never really had something to compare my skill to till today

  • 1:25 "so white just mates black"

  • 6:28 in the hypothetical version where black plays "better" white can take the knight on f4 and be in much better position

  • @btravagl1 He he should mention that if white simply takes the knight the keymove is Re1+ white K to the 2nd rank (either h2 or g2) and then Qa2+ mates white (Kh2/g2 Qa2+ then if Kg3 rg1+ followedy by Qg2 mate or Kh3 Rh1+ followedy by Qh2 mate)

  • @PabloPena108 thanks

  • @btravagl1 No re1+ and Qa2+ mates

  • Wish they had this in HD.

  • not that good at chess but still can enjoy the beauty of a good game

  • How is this a famous game? That was a pretty boring game.

  • this is like forest gump... do i want to hear a chess comment by forest gump? no i don't. so thx

  • This guy is a real firecracker

  • 3:56 you said an essence in such a beautifull way, and not just about chess, but in all aspects in life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx 4 sharing!!! And come back plz

  • in the end white can just take knight on f4 so they will be equal forces..and they would probably exchange quenns because if black takes away his quenn then white can mate black by moving his quenn on e8..

  • in the beginning of this video Why didn't you move white queen from c8 to f5 and then you could checkmate the black king?

  • @l1liness that is a bad move because black can then do queen to g6 almost forcing a queen trade which leaves white still a piece down but with fewer pieces. great idea though, the first time i read your comment and looked at the board i thought that idea was a winner, it took me a few minutes to see the problem.

  • @Th3NinjaSnowman Yes, you are right. I didn't notice the black queen. Thanks for correcting me.

  • who won here...?i didn't get it..sorry i don't know very good english and this man doesn't speak very well...!!!

  • @Live2Break It was a stalemate (draw). I would recommend checking out videos created by other users because there's nothing to learn from this guy. Actually, you would be better off buying a book of famous games and re-constructing them yourself on your own chess board. Most videos I've come across on youtube suck. People just read, usually badly, and they don't really explain anything anyways. Buy the books and teach yourself.

  • @DarkRealities there is no money for books my friend..

  • there are better stalemates in this position which do not build up on repetition but forced!

  • That's a matter of taste i guess

  • Cool. I didn't look at the queen sacrifice because I didn't really notice that ALL whites pieces were totally locked in! One wouldn't really THINK of a stalemate when in such a desparate situation.

  • Sorry if I'm wrong but what if the black Queen takes Rook on g7 (2:33)? Then white King moves to h2 and then Black Queen goes back to g2 for mate. I'm probably wrong so someone tell me if I'm wrong.

  • well, first of all if black Queen takes Rook on g7 then white King couldn't possibly move to h2 because of black Rook on e2. So I think you're absolutely right b/c after black Queen xRook on g7 there are no moves left for white b/c all the pawns are blocked and the king can't move without moving into "check".

  • Whilte still has no moves in what you describe, thus an immediate stalemate.

  • King can't go to h2 because it's covered by Rook.

  • King can't move to h2 because it is still covered by the rook on e2.

  • nice video

  • After 48. ...Qxg3 what prevents white from moving 49.Qf5+ ?

  • Doh! Nevermind, I totally overlooked the Queen mating at h2...

  • Sergei, question. In your hypothetical scenario at the end of the video (around 6:15), you have white Rook putting the King in check. After black plays K to g6, what's to stop white from playing g3xN? Black can't respond with Q+ because white's Queen is still on the same diagonal, and regardless of whether black exchanges Queens, white has basically captured the Knight for free.

    Nathan

  • Nathan, if white captures the knight black has checkmate through Re1+, Kg2 (h2 gives the same mate), Qa2+, Kg3 (h3 or Qc2 gives the same mate), Rg1 or h1 depending on where the King moved, and wherever the King moves black has checkmate with Qh2 or g2.

  • Gief Ze Chess !

  • I must be blind , I missed the move all together. That was a good game.

  • nice game :)

  • dude your a fucking pimp

man i could watch these all fucking day man

    KICK ASS1!!!

  • thanks for sharing the chess videos!

  • Now that's a stalemate! =)

  • Yeah, I had a game earlier this week that ended like that.

  • I love your accent man!!!!!! Keep on doing video's!

    Thanks
