I think everyone needs to read Jonah Chapter 4. I believe Jonah chapter 4 shows that all Armagedonites should be at least told that God is more concerned about the people living in these locations rather than their destruction. My point is that the prophecies have an appointed time that is solely under God's control. Also Christ said that wars and rumours of wars are things that must come to past but are not the end.

Yes I agree that it is logistically impossible even if there was an ambush. Although it is possible for Iran to ambush the US and then China to call our debt thus crippling the US. The two forces working as one would stop us cold. Iran could than launch a nuke at Israel with the backing of Russia. We would be crippled and thus just a bystander.
