  • does it matter which end you blow

  • won't work with a farm fresh egg. the airpocket in an egg gets bigger the older or less fresh the egg is. So this would need to be done with a store bought or al least 1 month old egg to work.....support your local farms and work a little harder on your hardboiled eggs.

  • I just tried it and it works brilliantly.. I did mine AFTER it was already cooled down, I don't know if it is supposed to make a diff or not..

  • It doesn't work as well with "fresh" eggs. Keep them refrigerated for one week then it will work. I do this for easter eggs so the kids can peel them and at least eat them:)

  • Thank you for asking the question that's been on my mind ever since seeing Tim Ferris do this. You cook them right and cool them in icewater, and it comes right off. Of course, then you don't get to do any tricks. lol
