The normal version is a lot lot more harder and they deleted the last stage.(The hardest of all btw)

The last stange doesn't actually come up unless you get all three of the collectable items in each level of the game. In this one, only about two items were collected so we don't get to see the bonus stage you refer to.

Them last bonus stages were only in the NES version. Amiga version has fewer levels and fewer collectables to get.

And just for the record: this game came out in 1991. Sponge Bob Square Pants didn't air until 1999.
