i have check now nearly 60 reviews of gt5, and many were positive, but when i see the ridiculous scores of some "no name gaming sites" such as "giant bomb" who gave the game 60 out of 100, i must really laughing, its because many people tend to exaggerate with their scores

people who score this game negative are either extremly biased and do not enjoy racing games, or only spend 3-5 days to review this huge game, but nontheless, i´m looking forward for your review

Grate show I had similar set up for my V2 going to try out that one now I have found you can use other peoples cars in GT5 that are online it's cool they just need to have the car shared to friends activated so when they are online you can race with their car and same with B- spec drivers can be shared to friends

Thank you for giving GT5 it's fair shake, and at least playing through the career mode to a certain degree before attempting to review it. Many of the games features are not unlocked until you get past certain milestones in the career (Full damage isn't unlocked until level 40). So, if you don't play it to those points, you will not be able to accurately review the games "features". From all of us at gtplanet.net... Hats off to you.

@esoterik45 GT5 doesn't have "full damage" at 40, its damage is the same from beginning to end. it was stated by sony. standards have some damage, premiums have better damage, and premium models ( assuming it means PREMIUM premium cars) have the best damage. Kaz said that mechanical damage would be added in a patch early december. if you guys read kaz's tweets, there is a lot of information regarding the future of GT5, including the new gt brand steering wheel and possible free-roam gameplay

Also, I'd like to add that GT5 is a Japanese developed game, there are differences in "Western" cultures of what people like in games. What's apparent in this game is its initial release is biased towards Asian culture, which is totally understandable. The reason i think it is, is it's kind've grindy, meaning you have to grind out the levels until other aspects of it open up later.

Other than damage, the higher you go, the more they disable certain aids if you're using them, which is cool.

Logitech keyborads are great but this lcd can be use for cheats thats why sometimes u can get kick from servers by antycheat software like PB. And Shaun macro is not a cheat a specialy in BF:BC2 u can do faster sometimes doing thing normal way (in BC2 ;p). Great episode ;]

@RenegadeFury I'm glad they're taking time with GT5, since at the moment you need to be level 20+ to unlock noticeable damage.

However, this month in early December, they're releasing yet another patch to address a lot of the issues, such as the ability to full damage on/off, damage in arcade mode. Additionally they're implementing mechanical damage as well as an update to deal with the congested online multiplayer.

I really hope you guys review the game after this patch is released =)

Activision gave game journalists all expense paid trips to Vegas to review MW2 ... then they can only test the game under supervision ... IGN gives inflated scores to a ton of games after only a very short period of play..in short alot of these game sites are not trustworthy - I've bought games based on reviews that were completely false then find the truth on forum boards where all the customers are complaining true story

I was a bit disappointed in the wheel support in GT5. My Logi G27 isn't directly supported, which makes it pretty un-fun. Pedals work as button remaps so they are digital on/off rather than analog. Bleh.

PS3 uses HID forecefeedback which is the same as the PC, therefore more wheel compatability. Xbox 360 uses the XID forcefeedback.

No, they don't, you have to buy them separately for more than 40€.

I can only speak for the german market though, but it should be the same just the price could be different.

BTW, I will get mine (clubsport ed) at Friday. :D

Sadly it's out of stock, and you have to wait till 2011, so it won't be a good christmast present anymore ;).

Just saying it for those who have planned to make sb. a present with it.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to get my hands on it.
