And if you can't play the solo but you still want to do the cover, you can always just play the rhythm guitar part on the solo. I didn't use an amp, used my zoom g2.1u. It's an effects pedal and I recorded directly into the computer using the usb slot on the back of my effects pedal. Used a program called Reaper to record it.
