I didn't know that the movie from 2006 is a remake. allmost all the time the originals are way more better then the remakes, but I think the one from 2006 would be better. but I'll make a desition after I'll watch this.

Actually in this movie they are not mutants but messed up in the head cannibals. In the new movie the director wanted to make a plot on why they are doing this so they made them mutants but in this movie it was based on some killings back in the 17th century where a family of cannibals would kidnap people and eat them.

I don't care what anyone who puts down this movie says, this is an awesome horror film. For it's day it was a standout like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. If you like today's horror films, be thankful this was made. It was groundbreaking in its approach and broke all the taboos.
