In addition, Mr. Feurer claims that the registry will allow law enforcement to know whether a home contains a firearm or not. Any police officer who trusts a registry to reliably tell them that will get themselves killed. Police should be assuming there could be firearms in the house no matter what any registry says because a registry does not magically register all guns. This means that a registry should not effect an officers actions in any way and as such, is useless.
