The Messiah was crucified on a Wednesday, just before the first day of
unleavened bread. That Sabbath was a high day (John 19:31), the day before the high days was considered to be a preparation day, it was that day, not Friday, that The Messiah was crucified on. If Christians and Catholic ,would keep Passover the Holy Days, They would realize that.
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so

That's only two nights and one day (36 hours) That A Lie According To The Messiah Words. The Messiah said, He would rise "AFTER three days" (Mark 8:31)

The Jewish people didn't do this to Him. He laid down his life and He took it back up (see John 10). If you're looking to blame someone for Jesus' death, blame me. He died for me. But it was His choice. He made that choice in love. Oh, He died for you too. He loves you too. He wanted me to tell you that. You think about that.
@pilanceboil Case in point, He was Jewish himself (which basically makes "Christian" anti-Semitism all the more weird - and, homestly, not really all that Christian).
While viewing this I played "The Old Rugged Cross" It sure hit home that Christ would suffer so much pain to save our eternal souls. Thank-you so much.

The magician from Galilee, his sadomasochism, his corroded cross, and his fairytales are becoming less and less relevant... believe in yourself. Realize that eternity is within you. Stop wishing for life after death: enjoy this one, it may be the only one you'll ever have; don't rely on other people's promises, eat ice cream, swim, pick fruit from a tree, savor it, plant the seeds... you'll see more life in that growing tree than in that dead book written by dead men who didn't have a clue...
It's alot more fun and alot more fulfilling to eat ice-cream, swim, pick fruit and plant seeds with Christ living inside of you than without Him. Eternity IS within you. Life doesn't begin after death- it begins with Him living within you- that's when true life begins. He is the way- He is the truth- and He is the Life.
The Christ was in Jerusalem for the ANNUAL Passover observance AND the Feast of Unleaven Bread that follows after the Passover Sabbath. The Christ had to be buried BEFORE the annual Feast of Unleaven Bread Sabbath that follows the Passover. He was in the grave for 3 days AND 3 nights as Jonah. He rose after the weekly Sabbath 3 days and 3 nights later. How is friday according to Catholicism holy when The Christ had to be buried on a wednesday evening to be in the grave 3 days and 3 nights ?

I bet I know what one of the songs you used was... Was it Hatikvah, the national anthem of Israel?

Another good song is He Holds The Keys by my all time favorite Christian singer Steve Green!
Christ is the one above all and the love was shared in a way that we'd never think of possible!
Jesus--You ARE the true light of the world!
Amen!
