  • i dont live in the basement but im a 29 virgin single i played cod mw2 all weekend

  • America has a religion phobia: anything that say " this is the way to do things " and this country will say " nah- uh, you don't know me" it's all about me me me me me

  • You think so? Maybe half of America, the other half lives in Jesusland and has a non-christian phobia.

  • It is about us as individuals. That is what America is about.

  • If you don't want kids take precautions. This day in age when it is so simple to avoid an unwanted pregnancy why is there a need for abortion? However, if you do get pregnant the unborn life now has a soul and a right to life. Give the child up for adoption - its 9 months out of your life - its their entire life. Don't be stupid and selfish.

  • You have zero right to force your decision on someone else. Besides; anti abortion laws would be virtually unenforceable. What a woman does is her business and not yours; get over your ego.

  • Oh the dear lord shall not judge us in any eyes, he loves and forgives all. Accepting God and devoting my life to Chirst the Almighty has the been the greatest change in my entire life. Bleass you all, and you tube.

  • RisingQEF, Who told you you have a will that is free? In order to have a free will you need to be all knowing, always present and all powerful to pull it all off. Then and only then do you have a free will. The only being with a free will is God by logical definition. We simply make choices on the information we have at hand. Read Romans Chapter 8 & 9. You can even ask Stephen Hawking, well known scientist, who agrees. You can't control what you believe. I know this will cause more questions.

  • There's no such thing as apriori...if you intentionally define free will that makes it impossible for humans to possess, then sure only "god" has free will. But then the definition is utterly useless. Humans show free will in contrast to other living things. Defining it this way is both testable scientifically and is a useful description.

  • It's so funny that all the goof balls who criticized the ad hadn't seen it. It didn't even mention abortion or prolife. The PC police get spooked if anyone even hints at challenging their view of reality.

  • fuck the PC police.

  • It's not really an anti-abortion ad. It's more of an AbstinenceOnly/anti-gay/pro-schoolprayer/anti-abortion/

ad. Just go to the link at the end. It's fun.

  • Words of Wisdom- from our friends at FOTF.

"Bonsai keepers remove everything but what is essential to the plant. We cultivate holiness in a similar fashion... Sexuality is a lot like the bonsai."

This apparently explains circumcision perfectly well...

  • Here's my pro-choice decision:

    watch?v=t_pUCakN7WQ

  • lmao thats funny shit

  • I believe that a fucking zygote is not a human life... embryos are starting to cross the line, but fetuses, unless SEVERELY impaired, should not be aborted unless it is that of a rape victim or otherwise extremely dire situations.

I am pro choice (i guess), but I believe in regulation. Can't just have abortions all day every day...

  • The pro-life movement is just as stupid as the Jimmy Kimble take-off. Tim Tebow could have ended up very differently. He could have been born with birth defects. A choice on his part could have made him end up on a couch in a basement. Until a child is born, the mother has to make the call. Tebow's mother could have chosen differently. And that is the point. No one forced her to abort the Tim. Why should she and her son glorify forcing other woman to have their children?

  • risingqef, are you saying that someone who is born with defects or is otherwise disabled doesn't have the right to live? That's exactly what Hitler thought.

  • Tebow didn't need to end up a star football player. He could have ended up a ceo or a dishwasher at the local dive. That's not the point. And for you to skew it that way shows that you may want to take a bit more time reading next time.

  • Just a factoid, COD5...Hitler was a christian, not a secularist. Propaganda doesn't make anything true. If he wasn't a christian, his choice of victims (those the christian bible says are "bad") would be incomprehensible.

  • @risingqef Hitler wasnt christian, his mother was a jew however

  • Again, just because someone doesn't label himself "christian" doesn't mean he's not one. Look up the history of Reichs and get back to me.

  • Where does the Bible say Jews are bad? Where does the Bible say desabled people are bad?

  • Plenty of people interpret the death of christ as jewish design. Mel Gibson anyone? Hitler and the reich included homosexuals in their list of victims. And while you could argue secularist reasons for the choice of victims (economic for the jews, etc...). When the list starting looking like Sunday sermon, then you have to start to wonder.

  • many of the top nazis were homosexuals.

  • Also included Catholics with the Jews. The two biggest, strongest European religions.

  • @risingqef you're logic is so skewed it's not even funny. So kids who are mentally retarded have no feelings and don't have a life of value? And no it's not up to the mother. If were just up to the mother then they could kill their 10 year old son if they were annoying them or causing trouble, but the last time i checked thats called murder.

  • no, JcaL and COD5, I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that while it's all fine and dandy for Tebow's mother to make her choice "for live" the group that funded her ad would jolly well force all women into motherhood whether they wanted it or not. And they call that moral. I find that reprehensible.

  • I believe the pro-CHOICE movement is screwed up. The women make their choice—before conception. They choose to have sex. Part of the reason this world has so many problems is because nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions (and that doesn't limit itself to just the women). Abortion is just avoiding consequences.

  • Everyone makes mistakes...in fact the born again christian movement is based on a bunch of christians making the mistake of moving away from god...maybe we should force them to live with their original choices. But that would be repugnant wouldn't it. Discrimination they would say. Classic case of the pot and the kettle. Christianity flourishes because they allow to themselves through god what they won't allow non-christians. Hypocrites.

  • I believe in forgiveness, but I also believe in reaping what you sow. That is also a very Christian principle. And as far as Christianity goes, the only difference in Christians and non-Christians is their belief in Jesus Christ. It has nothing to do with anything they've done or haven't done. They aren't perfect. They don't believe they are, at least the honest ones. There are hypocrites in every walk of life, in every religion. Don't bag the bad ones with the whole bunch.

  • That is the crux of the problem, VanBuren. Who decides who forgives mistakes? Christians are all for returning to god after a lapse. But when it comes to making a mistake regarding sex...they would punish women (and men) for at least 18 years. That's where "reap what you sow" becomes intolerance and completely wipes out forgiveness. I'm all for god taking his vengeance when he sees fit, but that's not your choice, or the evangelicals' or governments' choice. It's between a woman and god.

  • I agree it's between each individual and God. I'm not sure where you're getting the 18 year figure. As far as God taking vengeance, yes, it's very Biblical. It's also Biblical that He has offered us a way to return to Him. There is a reason why He is Love. It's obviously not from people with beliefs as off as yours.

  • Yes, I don't believe in god. If, however, you believe that I am devoid of 'mystical' impulses, you're wrong. I understand the impetus for the religion. However, what I don't understand is how someone, as yourself, can so willingly admit that you've CHOSEN to follow god, and can so readily condemn people who would CHOOSE otherwise. Worse, many of your creed would FORCE religion upon me...through the government. How can a forgiving christian choose god and deny me the choice?

  • I don't deny you the choice. I haven't even condemned you, as you say that I have. I just think you should know more about this God that you deny. You seem like you are very analytical, but you have made statements that I know first hand to be not accurate. I'm sorry that I cannot respond more, because I have to get to work, but just know that I don't ever want to deny someone the right to make their own choices in life. I do want to make sure those choices are informed. That's all.

  • Comment removed

  • I erased my last response...because being informed is another relativity. by whose standard. If "being informed" means "being informed about god" then you're just talking semantics. Even if you get to force me to hear about god before you give me free will, you're still forcing me.

  • oh brother! Do what you want!

  • LOL. I will. If anyone else can give a coherent response to the question below, I'm all ears: How can a forgiving christian choose god but deny me the choice, whether that denial be by peer pressure, browbeating, coercion or force?

  • That is one of few mature/logical comments I have read on youtube

  • OK, I need to respond because I honestly thought that it was going a little far. I, being as honest as I know how, don't care AT ALL what you choose. I do care if you make that choice with the ideas that you've put forth in this text. In my experience as a Christian, I know first hand that you have a wrong idea of Christianity. I was only trying to correct the misinterpretations you've had. I didn't mean to "browbeat" you. Insult Christianity away. You are left in peace to do so.

  • I owe you an apology. As I said in my deleted message, it may be that you only have good intentions, and you're not one of "those" Christians. But, it's getting to point in our culture...it won't matter anymore. Focus on the Family is celebrating now because they've infiltrated territory forbidden to them, and is still forbidden to gay dating websites. They (and others like them) pose a threat to this country. That is why I'm so fervent about it. I'm sorry to make you an object of that.

  • This is rediculous. You can't just kill people because, oh no, they might not end out with such a great life, according to pop culture's standards. Do any of you pro-death idiots have any brains at all!

  • This commercial makes as much since as the Tebow ad

  • A bit tasteless but there has been controversy surrounding the Super Bowl ad so at least it's relevant

  • Ok, so the point is abort your child because they might wind up living in your basement someday? And people call the Tebow ad offensive? When they haven't even seen it? I know it's comedy, bu,t sheesh, that's ridiculous, not funny.

  • No; much like most of the anti choice Taliban you don't even get the joke. Yeah that is the point; go abort your fetus because it might grow up to be a loser rather then one of the hundreds of reasons that women choose not to continue a pregnancy. I frankly do not care about Tebow's ad. It is just one person's opinion on the subject. But Tebow is young, never had sex, is clueless about life so very easy to discount his opinion on literally anything.

  • Umm, I got the joke, I just found it to be ridiculous & in poor taste. I've never been called the anti-choice Taliban, though. Now, that was hilarious. No one has ever called me that. I was not speaking to you, but you have sized up Tebow & me pretty quickly. I think he has experienced a lot in his young life & I will listen to him tomorrow. Enjoy the game!

  • Focus on the remote when this ad comes on, lol.

  • No you don't get the joke but that just makes laughing at you all the more hearty. It is easy to size up lightweights because you are just....well....so light! Tebow has never had sex so what does he know about the subject? Uhh nothing; so why would anyone even listen to him?

  • Ok, your argument is dumb. You don't even know Tim Tebow. He's clueless about life because he's a young virgin? Having that in common with him, I strongly disagree. But to go from your side, why not listen to his mom instead? She's not young, not a virgin, and she's pro-life. Explain that away.

  • My argument is mine and yours is yours. I do not need to listen to Tebow's mom. She exercised her choice. Good for her! I support her right to exercise her choice just as I support the right of others to abort. Neither is any of my business. The fact that Tebow is a clueless kid is not even debateable.

  • True, you don't need to listen to her. Just like you don't need to listen to any of the other commercials. They payed the money, their commercial was accepted, so they can run it. You asked why anybody would listen to Tim, you said his opinion does count because he's a virgin. I didn't say you need to listen to his mom, except she, according to your definition, has more credibility than her son. Yeah, that is my argument. You don't care what my argument is? Maybe because you can't defend yours.

  • Nothing to defend; pointing out that he is clueless and she excercised her freedom to have a kid. That is what choice is about. So really this a pro choice ad right? Your panties are ina wad over nothing girlie. Relax.

  • Haha trrueee.. I'm going to admit that I don't know football THAT well but I can tell when someone is wining and losing. Haha, but the commericals are pretty funny too! I'm just suprised people spend a bunch of money during the Super Bowl, but then again it is one of the most watched things too! And with this snow on the East Coast of course we'll be watching it.. We're snowed in and its like 2 feet of snow outside.. haha!

  • jimmy hit it out of the park right here. he couldnt have done a better job. and thats comming from me. a pro-lifer.

  • I find that hard to believe. Hit what out of the park?

  • yes, because raising a kid is a game of chance.

you have absolutely no power to stop your kid becoming a failure. it's all chance!

  • second?

  • what about second?

  • First?

  • what about first?
