There is some merit in what you say, however I think that much of the delay in American troops engaging the Germans was down to the stubborness of General Pershing. I don't blame the US troops themselves - they were eager to get into action. My objection really concerns the narrators version of events where he makes the US troops contribution to the war out to be far greater than it was.

Maybe it is because that United Stated is too big and too far from Europe that why it take some time to mobilization and the planing follow by men is not enough they need tank or ship so they need time to build it as most or their re service weapon had been transported to the UK. That is wad i am thinking .
Germany would have won the war in the summer of 1918 if the US would have remained neutral.
