  • make a 2.0 one!!!!

  • WOW! Look at 3:28 it's so high yet the robot can go up!

  • why r u so cruel.Won't the wheels of the trailer or the beams crack?

  • that sir... is amazing.

  • the little robot that culd

  • robot cruelty

  • i built it with the nxt 2.0

    doesn't work reallywell though.........great project!

  • too cool

  • 2:44 its having a seizure!! :O

  • can you use 2.0

  • Perfect for hauling my little Lego ATV

  • can it turn?

  • A robotic ant

  • cool!

but why you use one 1:3 translate? use snails transmissions!

Then he grabs and 60 degrees with no problems.

  • i wish i could make this but i have the 2.0 version. :(

  • i too ;(

  • i have built this robot and in my class at school i made it pull 50 something pounds of books and i used 16 red books wich each weighed 3 pounds each and 1 white book that was 4.5 pounds and it kinda kept bouncing a little but nothing broke and we just pushed it down and it pulled and nothing broke but i think it depends on what you make it pull like metak or contrete you shouldnt make it pull.

  • Awesome!

  • You ROCK!

  • 3:32 WOW... NASA needs to look into that...

  • glad you tested yours out and gave details or else i would have thought it would break and not tried something like this. Thanks for sharing

  • your robots are really cool.

Ive built about 6 of your robots and they are AWESOME!

  • cooooooooooooooooooooool

  • Cool you have "forbidden lego". great book. I also like your website. i've built three of the robots and they are really cool.

  • Guess you went to the absolute limit given a single NXT set. Good work!

I particularly appreciate your conscious use of the wheels, with an without rubber, and to supplement with gear wheels for stability.

Honestly never thought a single NXT set could achieve this!

My articulated hauler uses 2 PF medium motors with worm wheels and does 2 kilo uphill easily, but i did not measure the slope...

    Cheers and have fun :)

  • hopefully it doesnt drain battery power. i only have the rechargeable one.

  • Thanks For Creating My Idea! I cant belive how good it works!

I Sent you the email sugggesting this invention.

  • wowsers...you have a lot of lego books (lucky) i like your robots though. how do you determine the % slope? is 100% just vertical up and down?

  • To determine % slope, divide the vertical rise by the horizontal (flat, not diagonal) distance. So if it went up 4 inches and across 40 inches, that's 10%. So 100% is 45 degrees.

  • hey could i request something for your next project you should really make a simple biped walker.

  • this nxt project is da best ive seen

  • This is for very lazy people... I want one!

  • It's cool !

  • Amazing!

Just wondering, is this made out of only the NXT kit or does it use extra parts?

  • It is a single NXT set. If I had more parts, I could have made the tow vehicle stronger too, so it could take more weight on its axles.

  • Ok. Like your website, go for people who have just bought the set and want to get straight into building interesting stuff. I'm sure if I get the set thats the first website I'll go to!

Keep up the good work!! :)

  • @nxtprograms ur robots and programs are amazing i took i look at some of the programs and WOW

  • just a word: incredible

  • Sweet as!!!!!

  • cool!

  • dude thats so awsome

  • That is plainly awesome! I love it!

  • thes all look like test but this is great how it is made to pull that much

  • That's really clever, good job!

  • Awesomeness!
