  • Umm how is this physical education?

  • This is not fast !!!!

  • This is true physical education

  • I GO TO SAMPSON!!! WOOOOO!!! GO COACH FRENCH!!

  • ....miiiiight be a hooker someday 0:33 or a nerds best girlfriend...

  • THIS IS JUST SAD. THIS IS A VERY GAY SPORT!

  • What are the rules on performance enhancing Parkinson?

  • id be more impressed if they did it with there feet. ye kids who like sport, don't train hard and harness you're sporting talent to one day be in a team for you're town or head towards the Olympics when you can have instant gratification by stacking cups :D.

  • just one question WHY? if you want a job at asda just ask!

  • Great, our kids are stacking cups for PE, no wonder were the most obese country in the world i mean were teaching them how to stack stuff you use to eat/drink with...

  • these kids would work great in a sweatshop. lol

  • 30 i like fast things LOL! that's what she said :O

  • i remember when i was in 3rd grade i could do the 363 in 3 1/2 seconds. now im poop.

  • my best are 3-3-3 : 2.80 3-6-3 3:70 Cycle: 9:81

  • @n00bszpro yeah.. there's a lot

  • lol 1 minute and 2 seconds mine is 10.86 on the cycle

  • Also, to all you haters, RUBIK'S CUBE is a sport too...so kiss on that....):[

  • You've got to be kidding. What a bunch of baloney. We're gonna laugh at this stuff in 10 years the same way we laugh today at pet rocks. Give me a break - just another way for somebody to make a profit off of 10 cent cups. My kid came home from school begging for these things, and I am absolutely furious that his school fed him the idea that we MUST buy him these things.

  • 10 years from now, YOUR going to be a dead old man...so who cares what the heck you think....-_-

    Old Fogey.

  • Dearest Darkwiz:

    1. I am not old but am in my late 20's, and incidentally, physical fitness is my business.

    2. I am not a man.

    3. Go back to school and learn proper grammar, you idiot.

BTW, plenty of people, including you, care what I think. If you didn't, you would not have wasted your precious time replying to my post.

    Kindest regards,

    "Old Fogey"

  • My records are 3-3-3 2:21 3-6-3 3:25 Cycle 9:59.

  • My record on cycle is 14.06

  • My in cycle with normal coffe cups - 13.93

  • LOL my record is 3.96 XD

  • Wait!Americans actualy made a sport out of this?

  • Yeah Dujka we actually made a sport isnt that amazing? We almost made a sport where we use a aero dynamic bat instead of a fucking woodblock.

  • do you know the definition of the word sport? and what country are you from?

  • From a country that has no stupid people to make a manifestation out of stacking plastic cups.

  • hmm, you sound defensive. maybe your country has some stupid sports? i dont find cup stacking to be any less of a sport than chess or poker. at least it takes hand eye coordination.

  • My country has one of the best volleyball, waterpolo, futsal,... representations in the whole world. Have you heard of Novak Djokovic? Nemanja Vidic? Milorad Cavic?

  • so... russia? yugoslavia? that region?

  • WTF?! Yugoslavia?!!! Yugoslavia doesn't exist for 20 years!!! Russia is almost another continent... It's Serbia! Class dismissed!

  • thats all you had to say.

  • @dujkabeerlover hambugero ka lagi ano man problema mo uie hambugero!!!

  • oh, and did i forget to mention that this sport is recognised world wide and that almost all of the record holders are not american?

  • LOL

  • theyre slow my rec is 13.73 for these guys its probably like 17.xx

  • my pb is 8.50..

  • My current rec is 12.52

  • yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I do cup stacking, it's fun :D

  • lol

I see the future....factory work! (or stacking shelves)

Ok, good for reaction times n all that, and hey, if your good at it, why not!?

    Stack em' high!

  • 0:27 - that's what she said

  • I'd smoke them all!!! lol

  • I don't know about you guys but these reminds me the rubic's cube fever, remember!,back in the 80's!

  • HA! It does doesnt it!

  • Hey buddy you can make anything into a sport, sport basically means any physical/metal activity. And if it's just like putting dishes away post a video and prove it.

  • i like fast things...

  • what a senseless crap

  • FFS what ever happened to real sports in PE liek dodgeball srsly a good hit in the head with a rubber ball is better then this shit.

  • awesome way to get the kids to stack the traffic cones behind the instructor.

  • now that is a school with a lot of money to spend :0

  • Wow they are good =/ I can finish that in 11 seconds.

  • These people are fast

  • The Military uses the stackers for soldiers who have Traumatic Brain Injury I got a Moderate to near fatal Brain Injury in november of 2006 in the army and my Occupational Therapist has us do the Stackers for re-hab.

  • it is not. Its much harder then it looks. One wrong move and the cups go flying everywhere. My speed is 5 seconds time, stacking them then unstacking them in the opposite order stacked

  • if u havent ever tried it dont just say u could brake a world record the first time!!!

  • now thats speed

  • These students are only showing off that they're better than everybody

  • I looove speed stackers! It's so fun! It's true! I can stack in 5 secs!

  • stack wat a 3.3 thats about it you cant do the cycle in 5 seconds

  • show us and put it on!!

  • i like to use my cups to drink from.

  • omg theres holes in the cups

  • yeah so it doesnt make it slow

  • wtf what fags playing with cups rolfmfao

  • my kids do this at work. it works so well the younger kids are now a lot calmer it helps with handeye cordination without video games.

  • WHERE CAN I GET THESE?

  • any of these kids in nyc?

  • its not a waste of time. its actually kinda fun. but so are regular sports...

  • I Do This In Skool Im The Fastest In The Class

  • ummmmm wellll this is real weird....... but yeaaa i tried it. i didnt haave any plastic cups soooo yea. i tried glasses. no yea. didnt work

  • I completely agree with you

  • That is just about the stupidest waste of time I have ever seen in my entire life. I can see some of those kids now on their resume... Strongest skill, cup stacking.

  • OMG they go so fast.

  • holy molly how do they do that. And that red head does look like a vampire.wonder if she shows up in photos?

  • speed stacking IS A SPORT! ok? look it up if u must!

  • That red head chick talking looks like a vampire, by the way.

  • who made up the rules for this!?

  • wowzers, tis a great SPORT! Yes...it is a sport -_- yea im talking to you...yea the one who doesnt think this is...cause it is beat that!! -burn!- but yea...anywaaayy it is a sport and a very great sport

  • We do speed stacking in our gym class, but It's not an elementary school... i think speed stacking is pretty cool

  • how is this physical education? esplain

  • listen to the interview. It helps hand-eye coordination and ambidexterity. These skills transfer to other sports. Also, it's deceptively good excercise. It doesn't look like it, but you can really work up a sweat after a good half-hour of practice.

  • Back in my day, we threw dodgeballs at each other for an hour or until someone broke something. I also had to walk 10 miles to school and back, and it was uphill both ways.

  • hahah

  • lmao

  • how is it uphill both ways? o.0

would've u have to go downhill at somepoint?

    just wondering...

  • You people who put this down are idiots...it's FOR KIDS! It's better than them sitting around watching teletubbies all day. And for the kids who have played it and think it's gay...I can't wait when you grow up to be a dead beats like your parents...and then you screw up my order at burger king!

The bottom line is that this does teach hand/eye coordintation (better than a video game!) and some sort of discipline...anything that helps kids get off the couch can't be too bad!

  • So let me get this straight, If you learn to speed stack you won't end up being a dead beat parent and or work at Burger King? Okay enough said....Now where the hell are those cups?

  • That game is so annoying XD My math teacher makes us play it every double period. One kid in my class did the three, six, three pyramids in 5.36 Seconds. He beat the math teacher's record which was 6.45 Seconds

  • My only question is this, what purpose does cup-stacking serve other than encouraging young kids not to smoke, drink, or go to wild parties when they get older? It certainly won't become an Olympic Sport or become a money-making contest that I know of.

  • It helps people with hand-eye coordinatation, thus it helps with sports like football and basketball.

  • COOL!

Usimg both sides of the brain (more than I

can say for some people who has comented above)

will buid awsome skills in all kinds of areas.

I can see how this may be a great way

for kids doing Wing Tsun to improve

    speed etc.

  • ooooooo cups .... how fun...do it in math every friday ... im 12 lol and its soooooo gay!

  • this game is so stupied i know from expeirience i hate this gay queer game!

  • Very good way to Shut the kids up ..

especially when it's holiday season,... they want everything! so freaking annoying..XD

  • i wish i coudl do this! :( but i'm a loser i can't i can speed type!

    does that count! lmap!

  • You'd have to turn a whole bunch of those cups over and fill them with beer. But yes, I take your point.

  • LMAO! Touché, my friend, touché!

  • oooo cups....

  • Cool Perfect indoctrination of kids to become mindless drones suitable for work in industrial slavery.

  • Sure it's good for your arms and hand-eye coordination, but what about the rest of your body? Doesn't that need a good workout too?

  • YEAH I AGREE WITH YOU ALL DA WAY want eye hand cordination play vid games its much more fun all tho you do need to have some realy exersize in da middle

  • yeh real good PHYSICAL education. Even fat people can do it and not be made fun of!

  • P.E. PHYSICAL education. Move your bodies, not just your arms. This is ok for after school, but if it meets state requirements for PE your state is ridiculous.

  • hahahahahahahahaha. why would you do that???? don't they have anything better to do in their lives?

  • this is rlly cool and probly takes talent but i dont see it becoming NBA sized. cool sport tho

  • US education system seems great, what next, Burger flipping training?

  • lol like your gym class is any better go get fat off of tea and crackers

  • Comparing cup stacking to the NBA? Thats like comparing dog shit to caviar.

  • Thank you!

And I strongly agree with 'guintsteve'

  • wow - very cool! Keep up with this. Looks amazing and I'm sure it's a lot of fun... it's a shame i'm so slow trying it at home ^^

  • Where do you get the Speed Stack Equipment because i wanna start the trend in my town!

    -Haleigh

  • I have to say one more thing to those people who put this down... this is great eye-hand coordination and prepares them for other sports. Stop picking on the good things in life! These kids are great and so are the teachers who give them something creative to do. A lot of pro athletes play ping pong to get ready for baseball, etc. I bet they couldn't even do what these kids do.

  • This is amazing and the kids are cute.

  • the kids are adorable. lol. and this is better than them hanging around the streets drinkin liquor gettin drunk and smokin weed. damn. give them a break. better than what the kids who live around here do...

  • I think this was great! Why can't kids just have something that is fun, like this, once in awhile? It beats spending your night eating chips and viewing youtube.... wait... That is what I am doing.

  • Great career training for restocking shelves at Walmart?

  • Wow. Texas is the 5th most obese and overweight state in the US. How about you take these poor children and GO OUTSIDE. Exercise? Nah, lets make em stack cups. Texas Stackers you say? You know who else has stackers? Burger King.

  • Good one!! XD

  • haha Aw, that last little boy that talked was so cute. Stacking cups... def.

  • why is everyone trying to get them back in front of the stupid computer screen... ? videogames ? Whatever...

if they want to stack cups, let em do it. I can't imagine this stretching into their teens ! ha

  • yeah this was cool for what one day in 1990? but those kids are fast

  • The teacher should get another job. I can't believe she went to college to do this. SHE IS A DUMMY!!!

  • So, wait.. why is this considered a sport again?

  • Good job at teaching these children skills for factory work. Too bad when they are old enough the USA will not have them(factories)

  • This is very disappointing. Look this is a bunch of BS if you think this is exercise. This doesn't teach you ANYTHING. Videogames are better learning tools, with hand-eye coordination, and teamwork skills. This will not help anyone and will NEVER replace dodgeball or any other sport for that matter.

  • O.O. I thought it was sped up at first!

  • ah i remember when i did this in 5th grade PE

  • I don't like it. I don't think the kids are getting much exercise. Video games are also good at teaching kids hand eye coordination and team competition. That is the nicest school gym I've even seen in my life by the way.

  • So lame. What happened to Capture the flag! Boo this woman

  • The haters commenting must not have any idea what it's like to engage in a competitive activity that is fun and brings people together, outside the realm of team sports. Not sure if you're aware, but not everyone is into sports.

Kudos to these kids for finding something they truly enjoy and can associate with. Perhaps some of these commenters never saw the other side of the spectrum when they were younger.

  • I know a lot of kids who have to do this in school and they say they hate it. They just do it because they get good grades for it. They also say they wished they played regular sports like other kids. I'm for the kids when I say Speed Stacking is hurting America's youth

  • I know some who enjoy it. Oddly enough, their handwriting imporved with it (I say coincidence...but whatever) As for them not playing sports, one ran the fastest mile in the class (6:47 I think...that sounds off though), the other has played soccer for 3 years and still plays it today (what...3 years later?)

  • If this replaces stuff like kickball and dodgeball i will kill myself. LAME SHIT

  • first of all its hella easy to do that fast cuz you just memorize it and second there must be some fatass lids in houston if they consider this a workout

  • They went to my school, and my sisters. They don't speed it up.

  • NOT A SPORT. how do you get any exercise out of this?!

  • ....not that amazing

  • They just speeded up the film....

  • This isn't a sport. Let me know when they are making $30 million a year to participate in this activity.

  • "Instant gratification they can be the number #1 in the world when they're 8 or 9, instead of waiting till your 25 to be in the NBA"

    Try 20-21 years old.

  • mouths are off

  • .. -_^ well Folse i'd like to see you try an do anything like this

and anyway poker is a world event now why not this? i think it's pretty neat an am glad they have a good sport like that it's alot better then some i've seen

  • OK STOP INSULTING THIS times are changing and there are many ideas that are different but not bad! i acually hated this in like 5th grade so... I kinda sucked at this i have to show this to my elem. school friends cuz this is bring back really messed up memories

  • WTH happened to jump rope and laps??

  • Yaa. We used to do this back in 3rd grade. I sucked. lol. How old's your brother?

  • ....sigh

  • seems like it would be difficult to evaluate who wins! ...red head teacher is hot!

  • you're stupid.. did you see the hips on her!? higher your standards bro.

  • that should be 'raise' your standards bro. bad grammar completely voids any credible thing you have to say.

  • what a crap

    go play football

  • wow this is almost as good as the sport of collecting pennies probably pay off just as good too being able to stack cups the fastest really live up the dream

  • ...And people wonder why American children are obese...

  • There's nothing sad about a school that appears to be proud to be teaching kids totally useless skills - just spastic.

I guess it gives them the tools to keep them on the right side of the bar - being the server instead of the customer - but there's only so many bars to go around in any city.

I bet they saw that netvideo from yonks ago about the girl who could do this super-fast and realised that they could get kids doing a 'sport' which didn't really cost the school anything.

  • holy crap, this is unreal

  • How sad are these people?

  • About as sad as your gay porn collection. Its a hobby, leave em alone.

  • ooh,harrk at you,bigbitch7

  • the sync and the music is bad

  • this is so amazin for kids i am intrigued i mean how these kids go so fast i would admit it i dont kn how to do this but i play basketball tho it would be gud to learn sometime tho...x

  • Haha. Typical american sport I have to say.

  • if only they'd practice guitar instead...

  • I guess there'll be a lot of speedy shelf stackers at the convenience store in the future...

  • Hahah, LMAO.

  • why on earth should children learn how to put plastic cups really fast on other plastic cups???

    jesus

  • i've been stacking cups for a just two days and i can already shoot threes from any where on the court!! thanks Dr. Speedstack!! *puke*

  • this is truly worthless. stacking cups in gym class? i guess all these kids will have the experience needed as busboys.

  • "maybe a unit on proper nutrition

would be better.." - I'm gonna take a while stab in the dark and say you don't have kids...
