@ssjxander21 You have to "Encode" it (Its at the bottom left), and once its done, you gotta upload it to youtube. Its probably located in My Documents/Expression/Encoder/F­ile Directory

When I go to encode my job, it says invalid job file! I have a class project, and this is the third program ive attempted to use to record my screen. I like this program and it's taken me the furthest, where I actually am able to record my screen. I just can't encode the job. HELP!!!

@jaxmarie33190 Try this.. In the right panel under the "Encode" tab, drop open the "Video" panel, and for the top box called "Mode" select "CBR - 1 Pass"

this should replace windows movie maker. i usually use sony vegas pro but thats to much for what i need. i use to use a mac, and editing videos on a pc sucked... but this helps ease the pane. thanks for the help

Im having issue's, Apparently, im able to Record Video's of World of warcraft, In game full screen Etc, however when i try to Do it with Terraria, newly released game, it completely blank's out the screen when watching it after finished.

@anden22127 You have to Encode it (It will make it a WMV), then you have to upload it.. By default its in Documents > Expression > Encoder > Output > (The Date Here) > Filename.wmv

@tonythom123 Like if you run a game that doesnt take up the whole screen -- So windowed mode allows you to still see your desktop like your games in a window

@tonythom123 Wow that looks weird LOL. Did you record full screen? When it was in the application, did it look right? I havent recorded an actual game so im not sure if that could be a problem -- BTW the actual place to encode is on the Right > Encoding > Video Drop Down > Mode > CBR - 1 Pass (Its what I use).

@FallenBattleField I think you need a special type of recorder to record a game, because those take full screen dont theY? Or youd have to be in windows mode.

then I use Adobe Media Encoder to encode WMV to FLV or any other format

did u try to upload WMV format into Youtube directly ? it may encode it for you ( I don't remember )

@SayianZZ thanks but adobe dosent recognise any of the expression videos they just dont show up when i try it by clicking open and selectng the file they're in it dosent show up, theres nothing in the folder. if you could help me or post a video showing how you do it it would be great help. thanks. :)

@SayianZZ i captured the video using microsoft screen capture, i then clicked on the wmv in the presets menu at the top right of the screen, it produced a dropdown menu with other setting like encode for zune 1, encode for windows phone, encode for xbox 360 1080p i clicked on the xbox one thinking it would give best quality, i encoded it using that preset then saved it as a different file leaving the original unencoded but a copy encoded with this preset. i then open up the adobe media encoder

@1998Koolkid7 after u encode with Expression to produce the .wmv video, forget about Expression.

Take the .wmv video file and encode it again with Adobe Media Encoder ( to .flv or whatever )

This is how I did it. I don't know why you are having a problem :$
