  • I got one of these bad boys back in the late '60's. Brings back great memories.

  • aha imagine trying to sell them nowadays, parents everywhere would be up in arms fearing that their children will become crazed killers.

Damn how I wish i got to have toys like that!!!

  • I wanted one of those as a child, and I was a girl. I guess I thought Santa wouldn't get me one because I thought it was for boys only.

  • I would trade black ops for this anyday

  • So they got shooting galleries while we got video games? Man I missed out.

  • Oh my God i got this toy for Christmas in the late 60's. It was one of my favorite toys ever! It was awesome until one of my drunken uncles came to visit after the holidays and broke the gun.I was heartbroken.

  • I wish I'd gotten one of those.

  • wow i love youtube

  • I had one and how much I loved it....

  • One of the best Christmas presents I ever got.

  • Whose was the wonderful voice of the narrator of these evocative minutes from our lost youth?

  • @pylgrym Claude Kirchner host of Terrytoon Circus along with Clowny his puppet. He did many Marx commercials including Great Garloo.

  • @newjerseybt Yes, good old Terrytoon Circus . Claude Kirchner and Clownie, '' And now its time for most of you boys and girls to go to bed '' I watched that very weekday night Wor channel 9 . 7;00 -7;30 pm, and went to bed after it. A wonderful memory , he has his last interview on You tube. Ive also got in touch with his daughter Lynn Laveille. She still has Clownie and the ring masters outfit Claude had on the show. I remember '' skinnybones '' and '' string bean '' Clownie was great.

  • @1952kid Claude also did live commercials such as Cocoa Marsh, Yum Yum? strawberry, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy. I loved his Felix and deputy Dog cartoons. I also received a response from one of Claude's daughters about 6 years ago. I happened to mention on some site that Claude did not show up at an ACME store where he was supposed to appear. This was around 1959. The daughter who saw my post said Claude NEVER missed an appointment and seemed hurt by my remark. I was sorry later I made that post.

  • What year was this?

  • I got mine in the 70's but I believe it started in the 60's
