what gets me is that if we are 'infinite consciousness' that means we lose our personality on death..so what is left is some absract consciousness that has little to do with what we know of ourselves now...or does it mean a spirit with our personality...confusing...

The devil is merely the deitification of thier emporer - the long horned Umbaba Samahonga- THEY'RE REAL BIG ON DEITIFICATION i.e referring to themselves as gods, divine beings, etc. Well as long as death is an option there is a way out, right? right? sure there is the possibility that all this "hope" is just wishful thinking but intuition doesn't suggest so- one facet of intuition is the unconditional knowing even when there are multiple possibilities.
