@nikai123456789 Don't believe whatever you read on google. I'm a BASE Jumper and we don't "die all the time". Those BASE fatality lists and rates are all bs. Just look at Jeb Corliss. He has done WELL OVER 3000 BASE jumps and is still going strong. So is his Super Model Girlfrind(lucky bastard!). Our sport is one of the most dangerous sports in the world yeah but, we definitley don't "die all the time". The REAL total fatality list # is nowhere near as big as the # of BASE jumpers worldwide.

@jimmyshitbags Yes. There has been 164 deaths in the modern age of BASE jumping since April 11, 1981. Though you are wrong about the "there are no parachute lines to get tangled up in" part. We wear BASE Jumping rigs, which you can see on their backs in the video. We have one canopy(parachute) to deploy so it has to be right. We deploy our canopy at a low altitude and land safely on the ground. That's if everything goes as planned.

Take skydiving classes, get your "A" license. Do a total of 200 jumps, and then you can fly a wingsuit. You will want to do 40-50 regular skydiving jumps with a wingsuit before you try BASE or proximity. But if you really wanted to, you could be doing this in 12-18 months.

@dsessom I understand but what's keeping the average joe from buying a suit, then fly over the top with a chopper and jump? It's not like there is a cop every hill or so. Yes I know, that would be total madness but still you get the point.
