@jollyjohnny61 Do you remember the 60's and 70's? I do. And I wasn't living abroad. The country was going down the drain due to strikes and abuse of union power. Germany still has plenty of industries and why? Because they didn't have obstructive unionists sabotaging their companies as we did in Britain. Someone had to clean up the mess and Thatcher had the guts to do it. (By the way, it's 'must HAVE been living abroad' not must OF.)
