@Ludwig123179 -Hagman actually said some positive things about this story. He and LG talked about it in one of the reunion clip. And I think this moment is very in character for J.R. It fits in the larger arc of their love/loathing dynamic.
I HATED that this was part of the dream sequence and all of the progress JR and Sue Ellen made this season was lost. I think that this was their best year together. I think that JR was the best man he'd ever been during that season.
Mandy was hot. And for a mistress, pretty classy.
